Beautiful cabin and an awesome view with the Float Planes coming and going. That was really fun to watch. Nice and quiet and we all really enjoyed staying there.

This was such a cute cabin. We got to watch the northern lights by the river. We were lucky enough to see several small planes land and take off. We fell in love with alaska. We will definitely be back

Absolutely beautiful cabin. Awesome to see sea planes landing right outside the cabin. Beds very comfortable and home clean and well stocked.

We had a nice time at the cabin. Everything was clean and as described. We enjoyed watching a few planes take off and the cabin was far enough out of town to catch some northern lights early on our last morning.

Clean location with great proximity to airstrip to spectate from the porch swing as aircraft land and takeoff. Well-communicated logistics with host for access to property.

The place was great very peaceful beautiful loved that you would see airplanes on the water taking off or landing. The rooms are very clean. The kitchen had everything that we needed and more including the washer dryer area. The check-in was easy and the directions were perfect very happy to stay at that cabin.

Great place to stay when visiting Fairbanks area, quiet, had lots of basic necessities, which was very useful.Kids loved the games, wood furniture is beautiful. Had a great time.

The property worked for what we needed. Had great communications with the host. The kitchen was supplied well. Location was within 15 minutes of every place we attended while in Fairbanks. Was also nice to be able to watch the small planes takeoff and land on the marina. Nice neighborhood for late night walks.

What a beautiful property!! We LOVED watching the sea planes land! Nice fire pit outside for evening fires. Master bedroom upstairs was beautiful. Downstairs bedroom was extremely small. No room for luggage in the room but there was room outside the bedroom near entry door.

Beautiful property. Very thoughtful host. Has all you need and more. No hair dryer. In the Harry Potter Cabin the shower is odd, not tall enough for most. They do have a public shower in the lodge though, we did not use it. Did not see any animals anywhere around the cabin. Was happy and sad about that. LOL. The cabin was stocked with what you would need as far as dishes, pans, etc. Extra towels would have been nice. All in all a peaceful place to stay, affordable, little on the small size for four people, only two chairs in the living room area, but we were not there much.

Hello Kathleen, we were happy to host you during your stay in Fairbanks. I am happy you enjoyed your stay at our cabin, although I believe you have our cabin mixed up with other accommodations on your trip… We do not have a Harry Potter Cabin or a Lodge, and the two baths both have full-size showers. We also provide 2 complimentary hair dryers in both bathrooms. We almost always have ducks swimming in front of the cabin in the summer, and occasionally we do see moose in the yard as well, year-round. We enjoyed hosting you and you are welcome back anytime!

This sweet cabin was exactly as described and as shown in the photos. We used it for two nights as a gathering place for our family after a college graduation. The downstairs was comfortable for all 8 of us to sit around the dining room table and be together.The kitchen is more than well-stocked with condiments, spices, quality cookware, and an easy to use espresso machine. Everything we needed to make a few meals.There is a cozy upstairs loft area with the king bed and tub/shower (with fancy bath accessories), plus a papasan chair.The house was evenly heated and comfortable, the showers were great and plenty of fresh-smelling towels were available.We would definitely come back, if we had a reason to be in Fairbanks. We enjoyed the few planes taking off, but the water was still frozen on the lake when we were there. Wish we had planned to stay longer. Great, responsive host!

Lovely little cabin on a pond/ we arrived in summer, and met the Alaska mosquitos, but were still able to sit outside and enjoy the scenery! House was lovely and beds were very comfortable.
