Private Log Cabin with Hot Tub

Misty Falls is a beautiful one-bedroom (Honeymoon Style) authentic log cabin that sleeps up to five people. The cabin is located in the Great Smoky Mountains Arts and Crafts Community, minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin is secluded yet close to Gatlinburg, making it an ideal place for a private romantic getaway. The cabin features an open bedroom on the main level with a handcrafted king-size log bed and full bath with stand-up shower and large Jacuzzi tub. The lower level of the cabin boasts a pool table, TV, washer/dryer, and a futon. You can also enjoy free unlimited games with our Mulitcade arcade game table. The cabin has a full kitchen and a hot tub on a private covered deck. Misty Falls is perfect for those who enjoy the adventure of hiking or roaming through quaint shops. There are lots of unique dining and shopping opportunities in the area for you to enjoy. Please note that pets are not allowed. In addition to all these amenities, guests at Misty Falls frequently spot wildlife such as turkeys and bears. So if you’re lucky, you might get to see some of these beautiful creatures during your stay!

The place is beautiful and very peaceful. The hosts are very responsive and go shine and beyond for their guests. We will be coming back this was one of our favorite places to stay. Excellent.

We had an overall great experience. At one point a family of bears opened my truck and went inside but they did minimal damage. It was actually kind of a thrill to myself but not so much for my wife. The cabin was very clean and the hot tub was exceptional. We would definitely stay there again and we're very glad for the choice we made.

Thank you for the review. We are definitely seeing more bear activity lately. For those reading this that may stay here or anywhere in Gatlinburg just a reminder to keep your vehicle doors locked and don't leave any food or scented items in your vehicles. Hope you can stay with us again sometime.

Very good stay, had everything we needed. Also seen bear on a couple occasions on site. Was very clean and hot tub was ready for use, very comfortable bed. I would definitely recommend the cabin.

Secluded but not that far from town. Everything about it was relaxing and enjoyable. My husband and I really found the cabin to be authentic and comfortable, he loved having a pool table though. It was a really nice experience. The owner checked on us midway through our visit which was really nice. Overall a 10/10.

The shower is very small. There is very little water pressure in the shower. There was a lot of cobwebs throughout.

Thank you for the feedback. We are doing a remodel in January to make the bathroom and shower bigger. We will check the pressure, probably just need to clean the shower head. Will also make sure to have the housekeeper take care of any cobwebs, that is a constant battle in the woods but we will get it treated and cleaned. Thanks.

The place is very well decorated which gives a homey feel. Great communication from owners. The neighborhood is very private and quiet. Overall everything was great.

I honestly couldn’t find a single thing I didn’t like about this cabin. It was spotlessly clean, incredibly quiet, and the host was awesome — he responded right away to every message. The little details they put around the cabin made it even more perfect. Everything about the place was perfect, and I will definitely be coming back.Highly recommend!

Perfect and peaceful. Loved how it was close to everything but far enough away that it was private. Wonderful stay. Planning on coming back next year. Host was nice and responded right away.

My boyfriend and I stayed over Labor Day weekend. I read all the reviews for the cabin prior to our arrival to be prepared. Everyone talked or complained about how tiny the shower is. While it is small, we didn’t think it was a big deal at all. The host provides shampoo, conditioner and body wash for the guest. It’s a small cabin perfect for couples and small families. We used all the amenities and had a blast! The bed is amazing and the tub is so much fun. We played pool and the little arcade machine with all the old school games! We sat on the little deck for our morning coffee and at night for our adult beverages. We lived in the hot tub. We have ZERO complaints and had the best time. Oh, someone in the reviews complained about spiders. You are in the middle of the woods, they are to be expected. However, we only saw one and he was nestled in his web all weekend on the deck and never bothered us at all. We bought a citronella candle for the deck and left it for the next family to use! We had the best time! Thank you for a great weekend!

Everything is as advertised. Hosts very responsive the cabin is phenomenally clean. They even had the coffee ready to brew. Close to downtown. Would absolutely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Misty Falls! The peaceful mornings with our coffee on the porch were so enjoyable and much needed, and the pool table provided some fun in the evenings. An unexpected early evening visit by a bear walking down the driveway while we were sitting on the porch completed the whole experience. Note: he went straight to the trash can by our car and knocked it over. Thankfully, there was no trash in it to make a mess, and he headed back into the woods. Overall, great time here, in Gatlinburg and Great Smokies National Park. We will recommend to our friends. Thank you!!

Our family built this cabin almost 20 years ago. When our mother passed in 2021 my siblings and I took it over. We have made a lot of updates and upgrades to the cabin since that time. My wife and I as well as our kids enjoy going up there a couple of times a year, it has always been a special place to us.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

The cabin has a lot of sentimental value to us. Our mother had a passion for the cabin and enjoyed decorating it and reading reviews from guests. She did go a little over board with the bear theme, we have scaled that back some and made several updates. We feel like the cabin is in a great location, close to Gatlinburg but still feels like you are in the middle of the mountains.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

There are many new cabins that have been built over the past several years. Many are basically log cabin subdivisions with dozens of cabins right next to each other. While there are a few cabins that can be seen from ours, we still have much more privacy than most. It is also a real log cabin, many of the new "cabins" are stick built houses with log siding on the outside.
