Sellers Shore Cottage - Oceanfront, Cape - Private
Sellers Shore Cottage is a classic cape in a private and scenic location. Sitting above the shores of the Penobscot Bay this cottage is simple in nature and spectacular in setting with stunning, second to none views of the Penobscot Bay. The home sits along the rugged coastline and enjoys western exposure for brilliant sunsets. Enjoy an ever-changing view out the windows as the boats, birds and tides ebb and flow along the bay.
Sellers Shore Cottage is a three bedroom, one and half bath house. The home is a classic cape with sprawling western views. The home has three bedrooms , two of which are on the first floor of the home. An inviting living room with big views, some books and games and a propane fireplace await happy and comfortable guests. The well stocked kitchen with a dining table set with four chairs. The kitchen has the pots, pans and dishes needed to enjoy meals at home. The homeowner does have some nice serving dishes and a variety of glassware at the property to make meals at the cottage memorable and well presented, entertaining island friends could be easily achieved at Sellers Shore Cottage.
The first floor of the home has two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a dresser, closet and a decorative lamp with a full bed. The second bedroom has a closet, dresser, two lamps and a dresser. The living room is comfortable with bold views of the Penobscot Bay and the outlying islands. Watching the tides come and go and the water-faring vessels course along the bay will be an ever-changing and special view to enjoy. The living room has a couch as well as a couple of comfortable chairs for seating options. There is a propane fireplace to take off the chill and provide a nice ambiance in the living space. The living room does pop out on to a covered porch where a couple of chairs are in place to enjoy the wonders of the bay - no matter the weather.
The second floor of the home has a second sitting area that welcomes in the view of the bay. There is a half bathroom (the soaking tub is not in good order and has a little leak in the base. Guests will only have use of the sink and toilet in this bathroom) for tenants to use. The second floor also has the third bedroom with a full bed, views of the bay and a large closet.
The outdoor areas of Seller Shore Cottage are stellar. Bold ocean frontage, a private location and a small, covered seaside deck are some of the highlights at Sellers Shore Cottage. There is also a beach that is shared with two neighboring properties that guests of Shore Cottage will have access to.

*** Note: Sellers Shore Cottage does have iron rich water, also known as hard water. This water can have a tendency to stain appliances and fixtures, while it is not unsafe to drink, wash in, cook with we do like to make guests aware of the issue ahead of scheduling your visit. The owners do provide a water bubbler and five gallon jugs of water for guests convenience.

No large parties or gatherings
No fire pits unless advertised and included
CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be in writing and received by Agent. Cancellations may only be made between the date that a reservation deposit is received and a date determined to be 45 days prior to the tenants scheduled arrival date. Cancelations within 45 days of arrival will not result in a refund in whole or part of rental monies received. If a cancellation is made prior to 45 days of arrival, the Agent shall, as an accommodation to the Tenant, make an effort to re-rent the property at the published rate for the rental term reserved. No refund of rents paid will be made until the canceled period is re-rented and confirmed. If the canceled period is re-rented, any rent and taxes paid will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee. If the re-rental amount is less than the published rate, any difference in rental rate remains the sole obligation of the tenant. If the unit is not re-rented, all rents paid, processing fees and taxes shall be forfeited as damages. This cancellation policy is strictly followed. Tenants are encouraged to purchase travel insurance for all vacations to cover many situations that may arise that might cause one to cancel vacation plans. There are many independent insurance providers available to tenants.
I understand that the insurance company holds this policy and that The Island Agency does not determine eligibly of claims.
