An amazing special place to stay and the property is a true gem. Every detail was just great, from the history of the space, the great muffins and farm fresh eggs to the great hosts. We could spend a week exploring this area. It was a perfect way to celebrate our 32nd anniversary.

Our stay at the log house was great! The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. The house was clean and we had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Fireplace was wonderful. We appreciated the muffins, eggs, bananas, milk and orange juice. Would definitely recommend staying there and hope to return in the future.

The property was clean and very well taken care of. The owners were very attentive. We really enjoyed our stay. My husband said he would’ve stayed two more days if he could.

We had a great time at the historic log house. If you like to hike, bring your hiking shoes to enjoy hiking on the 300 acre property. Jenn was an excellent host. The house was spotless and the historic renovations were so impressive. There is shopping and restaurants within 15-20 minutes away. Overall, our trip was very relaxing and a great place to unwind. We highly recommend!

This place is a gem! A thoroughly charming, relaxing, comfortable place to spend time in nature. The cabin is clean and lovingly restored, balancing respect for history and consideration of modern needs. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond in stocking the fridge and pantry with fresh eggs, muffins, juice, and snacks. After reading the reviews and looking at photos I had high expectations, and they were surpassed!

Second time staying here...love it! And I cannot say enough about the hosts. The breakfast items were appreciated and a nice touch. I would recommend any of their properties.

We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay. While the surrounding area and towns were enjoyable when we visited them on our first day, we stayed at the cabin the remaining 3 days and enjoyed the cabin and the amazing quiet we experienced both during the daytime and nighttime. We certainly hope we can come back to the area and if we do there will be no doubt where we will stay Great hosts offering great properties. We can't thank them enough.Thomas and Lois

This spur-of-the-moment trip ended up being the perfect getaway. The property was quiet and beautiful. The house was cozy, artful and whimsical. Doug was a gracious host. I hope to return.

Rustic but homey, lovely property for nature walk, too cold to avail ourselves of the lake but would be great. The thoughtful breakfast fare left by the hosts was much appreciated! Will definitely visit again.

A great place to celebrate our anniversary. Lots of privacy and we enjoyed the two little lakes and the small boats available for renters use.

We had a wonderful stay. Had it been either warmer or cooler, we would have done a bonfire outside or a fire in the fireplace. That’s the only thing that would have enhanced our experience. Otherwise it was a delightful cabin and the hosts were friendly and helpful.
