We had a wonderful stay at your Otis lake house. We all enjoyed kayaking and exploring the water. We saw a beaver dam, salamanders, and the lily pads and foliage made our kayaking so scenic. Our grandson fished and caught a small perch! We all loved sitting around the fire pit enjoying time together and some of us enjoyed the hot tub. We had great weather so most of our time was spent outsideAt night, we enjoyed the game tables and playing card games.All the rooms were so comfortable and well-appointed. Thanks for being so responsive when we had questions about the fireplace and the stove. We would definitely go back!

We had a fantastic time at this property!!! It's got everything you need and the owners were great with communication. Lots of hikes nearby and only 1/2 hour into Great Barrington. Would highly recommend!!

The home at Hideaway was spacious and clean and modern and sunny. The deck was comfortable to hang out on and there was an additional seating area outside next to a fire pit, overlooking the lake. It was perfect for our family of two couples with young children and two couples without young children.The four kayaks were easy to use and right next to the dock. The lake was quiet and we basically had it to ourselves. The location of the house was terrific - 20 min to Lenox and Tanglewood, 20 min to Great Barrington, and a few minutes to the other hill towns and Jacobs Pillow. The owners were extremely responsive and communication flowed easily. We hope to get the opportunity to return.

This is a lovely property. While our stay was in the summer, I think it would be an ideal base for a visit to the Berkshires at any time of the year. The house itself is very spacious with a large deck overlooking a pond. The deck is great for hanging out and having drinks. We did have the fireplace in the great room on one evening. It was great and added much to our dinner. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need for making group meals. The bedrooms were all a good size and there were plenty of bathrooms for our group of 8. The hosts are great. When we booked the property, they sent us a detailed packet of information on the property and the area. This was very helpful in preparing for our trip. The hosts also were in contact well before our visit with helpful information. I loved the check-in which was seamless. We had a wonderful stay. My friends are still raving about it.

The neighborhood is calm and family-friendly, with beautiful nature all around and friendly locals who love the outdoors.

What we enjoy most is waking up to the sound of birds and the reflection of the water just outside the window. It’s perfect for kayaking, swimming, or simply relaxing by the firepit after a day of exploring nearby hiking trails, waterfalls, and ski mountains like Otis Ridge and Ski Butternut. It truly feels like a hidden retreat year-round.
