Enjoyed the chalet very much was 12 of us from 73 years old to one everyone loved it we will be back

Family Vacation

We had a great time and all 16 of us fit comfortably. The grandchildren loved the pools and all the amenities the Chalet had to offer. We also enjoyed the beautiful lake!

Stay

Family friendly, kids loved pool table and the adults loved the hot tub. Of course having two pools never hurts. Great time great stay.

The Perfect Place

The property was beautiful and we enjoyed everything you had to offer. Roger and his wife (Property Manager)were so kind, and we enjoyed getting to meet them. We are already planning out next stay.

Great for fall/winter too!

While the resort definitely has lots of summer amenities, we still had a blast during November. Plenty of firewood and the hot tubs were still available. Great place to just hang out and spend time together.

Perfect 60th Birthday Celebration

It was the perfect place for our family - adults and kids from 1-11. So many amenities. The pools are beautiful. Big Buck was big enough for us all to spread out and also enjoy our time together. We will be back annually for our family getaway!

Nice house

House was a little too far away from restaurants and grocery store for our liking, but the lake is beautiful and the house fit us all nicely!

Celebrating 50 years

The property was absolutely beautiful and clean. So many amenities that everyone had plenty to do. I would suggest blankets available, because it was very cool in basement. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Thanksgiving Holiday

The house was so lovely. We celebrated Thanksgiving here and were happy to find a clean and well stocked kitchen. We had 6 children with us and were happy to make use of the pool table, living room areas with TVs, hot tubs and community playground and mini golf course. We would definitely recommend this house to families and other large groups.

Friendsgiving

Super impressive property. Seamless check in and maintenance assistance, not that we needed it 😊. Would definitely recommend, especially for families with small children. The activities are definitely worth it.

Wonderfully remote location

The property and access to the lake was great. The large pool with a slide was enjoyable. Mornings on the deck watching the sun rise was very peaceful, and evenings in the very large screened-in porch with a fireplace were delightful. The private hot tub is the feature we used every evening, that was so relaxing after walking many hours at one of the local attractions. It was the real selling point for us.

Very nice property. The only thing I would add is more baking sheets could be provided

Great property we love staying here the only thing I would say is more baking sheets could be provided that would be nice and also the lighter for the outside fireplace did not want to work so it took a long time to get a fireplace started.

Fun!

Our GPS quit & Roger was so helpful in getting us there! Too sweet! Kids had so much fun playing pool & in hot tub! We even scored a new coffemaker from Roger! All in all...lots of fun despite the weather!

Great family Thanksgiving

We enjoyed our time together at the Big Buck Chalet. The weather was lovely so we spent time everyday enjoying the outdoor amenities. Everything is well maintained. The managers checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the large dining room table was nice. The kitchen had the basics but nothing extra so bring everything you need. We didn't use the patio much because it was chilly but would've enjoyed it in warmer weather. Overall, we had a great long weekend and appreciated the beautiful property!

Long weekend getaway!

Our Big Buck Chalet was beyond amazing! It was beautiful and stocked well with small touches that made our stay that much easier and relaxing! Our family will definitely be back!

Great property!

Great location, wonderful amenities, and access to water. Entertainment for kids was ideal, and the waterslide was a big hit! Facilities were comfortable and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Only suggestion would be a small convenience shop for things like bug spray, sunscreen, beach towels, pool snacks, and frozen pizzas, etc. We came prepared, but that would be helpful for anyone who doesn't want to leave the property.
