Welcome to Barrett's Mountain Studio- a cozy and peaceful retreat at the foot of Bays Mountain Park and planetarium in Kingsport, TN. This 24x36 studio is perfect for couples, solo travelers, or small families looking for a quiet place to relax while staying close to everything.

Inside, you’ll find a plush queen bed, a modular couch that can sleep two small children or an extra guest, and a fully equipped kitchenette with a hot plate, air fryer, toaster oven, coffee maker, microwave, and mini refrigerator. The bathroom includes a standup shower, shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer — everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Step outside to your private patio with a charcoal grill, perfect for your morning coffee or evening cookouts. The studio also offers a private entrance with an awning over the gravel driveway, giving you convenient and covered parking.Nestled in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, you'll feel right at home.

We were very pleased with the studio! The place was clean and furnished with everything that we needed for an overnight visit plus more. The basket of snacks was a great addition! Carport was a plus. Bed was comfortable. The host was very prompt with my messages also. We will definitely plan to stay here in the future if the need to travel through the area arises. Thank you!

Very comfortable and cozy. Very nice neighborhood. Delicious snacks and ample bottled water! Loved it. Comfy bed also.

Perfect place for a couple or single traveler. The place was very clean. Bonus for the covered parking. Kitchenette has everything you need. The snacks and little waters in the fridge was a bonus. I will definitely book again.

I traveled from Alaska to visit family in Kingsport. The rental was amazing!!! I loved how clean, comfortable and quiet it was. I had coffee on the porch and read outside in the evening. We will be traveling back a few times a year and I plan to stay here as much as it is available! Thank you!!!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It was perfect for us and our two pups. The host had everything set up including treats for the dogs. The bed was comfy and there's a cute little porch area to sit outside. When we had questions, our host answered right away. We thoroughly recommend.

The studio was perfect for us and the furnishings were comfortable and cozy. Our hosts even had complimentary water, snacks, and coffee waiting on us. Even had doggie treats for our dogs. We felt right at home.

Everything you need and so much better than a hotel room. The studio is so charming and well appointed. It’s a large comfortable space so you definitely don’t feel cramped. Communication with the property owners was top tier. They knew we’d be arriving late and made sure to leave lights on for us. It was easy to find and in a nice safe area. The bed was comfy, kitchenette has all the necessities, including coffee, tea, bottled water and even a variety of small treats for us as well as our dogs. The mini split unit did a great job of keeping us warm and there was plenty of hot water for showers. It’s located close to a Dollar General so you can make a snack run, a couple of gas stations and several fast food restaurants. It’s also a short drive to Downtown Kingsport from the property. We stayed for 6 days and we would definitely stay here again! 10 out of 10!
