This incredibly comfortable and inviting condo presents an exceptional value on the mountain. Situated just minutes from the slopes and Mountain Village, it provides easy access to all the wonderful amenities of Purgatory Resort. The master bedroom boasts a luxurious King Bed, an attached bath with a tub/shower combination, and picturesque views. Additionally, the unit includes two more bedrooms, one featuring a Queen bed and the other two Twin beds which can be converted into a King bed if preferred. A full shared bathroom is available off the living room. The living room offers breathtaking views and seamlessly flows into the kitchen and dining area. With a wood fireplace, a queen sofa bed, and a twin sofa bed, there are ample options for additional sleeping spaces. The kitchen is equipped with new appliances and features a large dining table and countertop bar for enjoying meals. We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was great and although the condo units are older they have made some updates to this specific unit. We would stay here again!

What a great little condo right by the slopes with a beautiful Mountain View. We had 6 kids with us with varying skiing abilities and they were able to come and go and enjoy their stay while the parents skied all day. It was a perfect

Ski Vacation

This condo had a great mountain view. It was within walking distance to the ski slopes. The kitchen was supplied with spices to make meals. We would stay here again.

Information for checking in /parking pass, etc was great. Easy to communicate with host too. She let us know dishwasher wasn’t working when driving there on day 1 which was disappointing for family with young kids who planned meals for all 3 days so having to wash dish’s daily routine took Gma away from playing with grandkids

Unfortunately, appliance issues can arise unexpectedly, and we do not have control over the timing when something stops working. As soon as we became aware of the dishwasher issue, we notified you right away so you could plan accordingly. While we understand the inconvenience, the home is fully stocked with dishes and for short stays like yours some guests also choose disposable options for added convenience. We hope that handwashing a relatively small number of items did not significantly detract from your family time together. We appreciate your understanding and your feedback, and we’re always working to resolve maintenance issues as quickly as possible.

On the Mountain

This property was well-situated in Purgatory Ski Resort. It was comfortable and quiet. The altitude was a bit much for the older people in our group.

Close to slopes but mediocre

Great location and decent view but that’s about it. Very old building, unit needs bath/kitchen remodel. Not enough glassware, cooking supplies which matters at Purg because there really is no where to eat. You get what you pay for here. Inexpensive 3 bedroom close to slopes. Crash pad.

Very Comfortable

Everything was great…except there is an issue with the hot water. Hot water only in master shower…no cold water i that one at all. Very hot! Other than that no issues.

Having fun in Purgatory

We were a couple and 2 singles so the apartment worked well. Well supplied with cooking and eating equipment. Convenient to base area and lifts. We did have a few negatives: overpowering room perfumers (we found them hidden in fake plants and wrapped them in foil to hide the awful scent); no recycling and had trouble finding trash cans; parking lot not cleared of snow in a timely manner; could use a rack above coat hooks to put helmets, wet gloves and neck gaiters on; could use a map of base area.

I'm familiar with the property having stayed there before. The access to the mountain and lifts is great. I was disappointed that one bathroom sink had a note saying it was leaking and not to use but DPRC was contacted. No one came to fix during our time there. We also had a dishwasher that didn't drain so we had to do all dishes by hand. I would have thought all maintenance would have been completed before renting it out to us.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately we cannot control the timing of when appliances might have issues. We also cannot control other contractors (like plumbers) schedules. It can be difficult in a small town like Durango to get work completed quickly. As you were only here 3 days we were not able to complete repairs in that time frame. Since your stay the owners have purchased a brand new dishwasher.

Comfortable, quite, great base for skiing Purgatory.

Property was very clean and well maintained. Directions and information was well organized, easy to access. Only suggestion for improvement was the cookware was of low quality, well worn and much of it heat warped. Had great experience otherwise.

Nice clean place. A little older building than most places around it but inside of Condo was nice and clean. Well kept. Bedrooms and bathrooms. a little small but over all a great place for the price. Overall was very pleased as it was accurate as advertised.

As it looks in the pictures

The property is as it looks in the pictures. It was everything that we needed for our family and we enjoyed our time. Thanks for opening your home! Pros- the ski area is nice and has a small store for necessities. There was plenty of space for our two families. We were able to relax in the living room, cook, and eat together, which you don’t get at any hotel. Cons- The family upstairs steps with a loud foot. Not a big deal as we were out having fun most of the day. The sliding glass door is tough to open and could use an adjustment. There are a lot of supplies in the kitchen but much of it is old but useable. Overall, it was great. Thanks again!
