Bearly time cottage has it all! The tall ceilings and tastefully designed finishes throughout this home will captivate you. You will feel so secluded while still being just 2 blocks from all the incredible shopping and restaurants in Highlands. Hear the sounds of the water as you relax in the hammock after a long hiking day or just stroll over to dinner and a show at the Performing Arts Center in your high heels. Three bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms accommodate the whole family plus extra guests! So many places to enjoy outdoor living at its best. Large deck, fire pit and even a grilling deck all overlooking beautiful Mill Creek. Fun loft that kids will also want to explore. You will never want to leave...this is how we feel about this home and that's why we named it Bearly Time. There is never enough time for it all...even for the bears! PS-We are pet friendly and allow ONE dog with a 200.00 pet fee, and we must be notified that you are bringing a pet.

Minimal outdoor seating, minimal space for clothing. There were just 2 of us so it was ample space but would have been hard with more than 4 people. Great location!!!

We rented this for the family of the bride for our son's wedding. They were thrilled with it and couldn't stop thanking us for renting it for them. I didn't actually see it myself, but based on their reaction it was a great home, and an easy walk to town.

Location was great. Easy to walk to all of downtown. Inside was newly renovated and communication was easy and great. Welcome was lovely and great property for kids. Loved the sturdy bunk beds and three bathrooms. Extra toilet paper and paper towels and body wash and shampoo and conditioner were a great touch!

Super cute 3BR/3Ba just 2 block from town. Very quiet and serene and enjoyed the end of day on the patio with a deck overlooking the clear and babbling stream. The property manager responded quickly to questions and it was a wonderful and enjoyable stay with dear friends. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay there, again. Very charming and comfortable.

The kitchen was well-equipped and the house was beautifully decorated. We especially loved the outdoor seating areas. It has a lovely setting!

The house is a perfect location! There is a stream running through the back that is so peaceful! The house is super clean and decorated so nicely. We will absolutely stay here again. The communication with the host was the best I’ve ever had. She made it incredibly easy! And there were no hassles leaving. They take care of everything! I’m so happy we found this little gem of a home away from home.

Excellent location within a short of walk of main street. Not a far drive from scenic hikes. Janet, the property manager, communicated frequently and was very responsive. We only had one issue - this dishwasher was on the blink. Otherwise, we would definitely try to stay at this property again on our next visit to Highlands.

Such a great place to stay so close to downtown. We were there for a wedding and didn't get in our car! The house is clean, inviting, cozy and convenient to everything we needed. We will definitely book this again.Note if renting: The house is spotless, but not well-stocked. Bring what you need to cook, coffee supplies, blowdryer, etc. Just a tip!

Our family go 5 had the absolute best time at this amazing cottage close to town. It was cozy and the perfect layout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and outdoor fire pit by the creek. It was very close to downtown Highlands where we walked to restaurants and shops. We loved the free ice skating that was within walking distance. The kitchen was well stocked. The host was very helpful and informative. This cottage exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to go back! Such a fun place to unplug and enjoy quality family time!

This cottage absolutely made our first trip to Highlands as special as it was. Honestly I kept thinking how lucky we were to have snagged it.We are a family of 6 and we had plenty of room. The cottage provided everything we needed, with lots of extra toilet paper, paper towels, and basic toiletries. The kitchen was well-stocked, beds were comfortable (with extra blankets, which was appreciated!) We were so close to downtown and the weather was mild enough that we walked a lot of places: downtown to shop, to Founders Park for ice skating, to mountain fresh grocery, etc. When we weren’t exploring the town or hiking one of the MANY scenic trails that Highlands/Cashiers has to offer (we recommend Whiteside mountain and sunset rock especially), hours were spent puzzling, playing games, and sitting by the indoor fireplace. Equally as charming was the outdoor property- we brought hammocks and strung them up by the creek, and enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit! It felt likewe were in our own little oasis tucked away in the heart of Highlands. Next time we visit the area, this will be the first place we look to book!

The property was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. Very convenient to shops and restaurants in the Highlands (we walked many times) and very close to many beautiful hikes and waterfalls to explore. We also just spent time relaxing at the rental and it was so comfortable for us. The property manager was the sweetest and most thoughtful to work with and checked in both before and during the stay to make sure everything was perfect for us. Would definitely stay again!

This is a wonderful cabin located just a two-block walk from the heart of Highlands. We stayed for two weeks while our older kids were at camp, and it worked out perfectly. We hung a hammock, enjoyed daily walks around the neighborhood, and took trail runs on the trails just up the street.The house is clean, well-maintained, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The property manager is very kind and arranged for wine upon our arrival. The owner was also helpful and understanding during our stay. The property does share a driveway with a nearby neighbor. This wasn't an issue during most of our stay because they were away, although they returned on our last day. There are several exterior cameras around the property, including on the porches and outdoor seating areas. Seemed a little much, but understandable as its a rental.

This was the perfect place in the perfect location for a family trip. It was absolute beautiful and cozy. So many places inside and out to spend time together and walk to shops and restaurants. Communication was great! We will definitely be back!
