This home is a clean and comfortable house in the Mundelein area. The only complaint I had was that the AC wasn’t in every room. But leaving the doors open and running the 2 window units cooled everything off. Overall I would recommend staying there

The house was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. Even with the downstairs occupied, we had plenty of privacy and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and welcoming, making it a great place to relax. The only downside were the shared driveway and parking. Sharing the driveway wasn't our favorite experience, and while street parking was easy to find during the day, it became much more limited in the evenings. Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property.

Place was very nice.. Downstairs neighbors were unexpected but absolutely no harm. Host was attentive when questions were asked. Can't beat the price for a very nice 3 bdrm. Overall my family and I were very happy and would definitely recommend

Originally the listing did not say there was a shared basement and you must park on the street. Space was clean and looked as pictured. However you can hear everything that the person down stairs is doing. There are also high pitch pest repeller plug ins in the kitchen they are quite loud when you are in there.

The place was very outdated and dirty with roaches. I reached out in day 1 to vrbo and i was told someone would contact me and didn't. It was the worst stay ever.

I enjoyed my 2 week stay at this property over July 4th. The property was enough for what I needed. Here are the pros and cons. Pros include location. It was next to a park that hosted the Mundelein Days festival. There was a carnival, musical performances and a fireworks show for the 4th. It was great to just be able to walk to the end of the block to experience that. The neighborhood was fairly quiet as well. Other pros are that there are 3 bedrooms and a washer and dryer are included. The host was also very quick to answer any questions I had. There were quite a few cons though, including window units only in the living room and one bedroom. Hard to keep the whole house cool and two of the bedrooms felt warm at night. The couch is tiny. Parking on the street is very tight, but you could usually find parking in front of the house and there was a spot to park behind the house too. More cons- you can hear everything the basement neighbors do. The noise comes through the vents. They’re not noisy people; it’s just that every little thing comes through the vents-music, talking, laughing, you know…people living their lives in their home. Just be aware, especially if you are a light sleeper. The kitchen was just OK. Freezer access was tight and the dishwasher didn’t really clean the dishes so I did them all by hand.Overall, it was livable. I needed a place that was reasonably priced for a longer term and this did the job.

This place was not clean infected with roaches after the owner said he had exterminate professional the place prior to me visiting. I purchase over 200 of groceries that all were either thrown away and or given away to family members who stay only 1 day due to the roaches. I also left early due to this infested place. The owner just said he had it done professionally exterminated. The prior rating was a hint for me but was within days of arriving at the place and of course lost all my money because it was too late to cancel.Vrbo at no time attempted to look into this matter in which I have describe, if fact I’m finding they would like to edit my review which I believe is wrong. I have attempted to get a live person to hear my complaint but to no avail. I plan on seeking legal help for causing my child to have to go to emergency and want feeling well after staying in this home.

We were disappointed from the moment we walked in. There were cockroaches in the house starting on our very first day and we thought it was just a random one-off… but the infestation got worse, with roaches appearing daily throughout the home. We later found out the owner was already aware of the issue, yet we weren’t told about it prior to our booking, which was really upsetting. Had we known, we would have chosen somewhere else to stay.We spent days trying to kill the roaches ourselves, hoping the problem would stop, but it only escalated. Because it was the holiday season and our first time visiting Illinois, trying to find another place last-minute was extremely stressful, and options were very limited. The home simply wasn’t clean, comfortable, or livable for us to stay in.The condition of the rental when we arrived did not meet basic expectations. Cleanliness and transparency matter, and unfortunately this stay missed the mark on both.We ended up vacating the unit a few days earlier due to this issue. We wouldn’t stay in this rental and hope future guests are given honest communication ahead of time.
