Cozy and charming rustic cabin nestled in the woods on a fully stocked private fishing pond.

Relax at the fire pit, picnic table or hammocks hanging by the water.

Fully furnished with all the amenities of home. One bedroom plus sleeper-sofa. No detail was spared to provide a rustic ambiance without sacrificing any of the comforts of home.

Fishing, First Monday Trade Days and much more to see and do.

Just over an hour from Dallas and 12 miles east of Canton, we're in the heart of East Texas and the small towns that have BIG things happening....Edom, Ben Wheeler, Mineola and Lindale to name a few.

Very convenient for the fishermen attending tournaments at the surrounding area lakes like Fork and Tawokani.

Great Getaway!

Cutest little cabin ever! Pics don’t do it justice. Owners were fabulous folks. Very relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle.

Great Place To Relax

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cozy cabin. The cabin was just as described and we kicked back for a couple of nights before a fishing trip on Lake Fork. Would welcome the opportunity to stay again.

Great Experience!

This was an overall great trip! Our host was awesome and the cabin was perfect. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need. We caught a ton of fish as well. Definitely will be booking again!

Awesome experience!

Great Getaway experience. Enjoyed the quiet calmness that was much needed. Throughly enjoyed the fishing pond as well as the cabin. The property Hostess Nathalie made sure our stay was the best possible and she was such a sweet person. Would definitely stay again.

Back to back visits

We did 2 back to back weekends here. Both times the boys enjoyed the peace and quiet, and the private pond for fishing. The cabin had all the necessities we could ask for. The fans and the A/C made it comfortable. We had so much fun just experiencing nature that we plan to do this every year.

Great property!

Great and clean property! Enjoyed getting out of town and recharging batteries. Only minor hiccup & probably not a big issue for most people was I have to have a TV to fall asleep to and there was no WiFi for TV, only a DVD player. Other than that, cabin had everything needed and I really enjoyed my stay! Would come again!

The property was cozy.

This property was just what we were looking for. We really enjoyed just sitting watching the wildlife around us. When life gets busy we forget what nature has to offer. The house is super cute and had everything we needed. The host were very welcoming. We would highly recommend this property.

Fishing Weekend

My husband and son wanted to fish and I wanted to take a nap. It was a perfect size cabin for the three of us. With a pond right in front of the cabin and a hammock for me to enjoy, we had a great getaway weekend.

Quiet peaceful great fishing getaway

This rustic cabin is a perfect getaway. If you like fishing make sure and bring minnows you can find them at Means Hardware just around the corner. We caught fish all day and let them all go so we can come back and catch them again. So looking forward to our next visit. The owners are great to work with.

Great Getaway and Great Fishing

Spent two nights at this great getaway. Interested in it for the fishing and that didn’t let us down. Bass, Crappie and Catfish were plentiful. We stayed during one of the hottest days in Texas and the AC was spot on, very comfortable cabin with everything that you need. Nathalie thought of everything, even some of her tasty tomatoes. Can’t wait to come back again!

Wonderful Getaway

We had an amazing time. We were greeted upon arrival by the owner and then escorted to the cabin. It was a very cute, clean and cozy place. We were able to have a fire with Smores, grill and chill. My son left with sore arms from catching so many fish. Can't wait to come back soon.

Pond Paridise

We had an awesome time out here at this oasis. The bed is comfortable and the hosts were very helpful. From the moment we walked in our stress disappeared. We were greeted by a s'mores kit ready to be enjoyed. The property is very clean and was the escape from the hectic city that we needed. The hosts made sure we were comfortable. We loved the views and were serenaded by Jeremiah the bullfrog daily. We will be booking this place again when we can find the time.

Absolutely amazing

This was everything we had hoped for and more. The feel of the place was nostalgic and fun. When we walked in the cabin it was spotless. The host went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and reassured us that if we needed anything to just shoot her a message and she would help. The location was awesome. We spent most of the time fishing and my son caught about 50 fish in total and had a blast. There was firewood ready to use, s’more stuff in a basket waiting for us, a grill and even a hammock. Everything was ready to just unwind and enjoy! We will be back!!
