Great place to rent close to JMU to visit our son for the weekend. Home was great. I might suggest to add more dinnerware and glasses as there was a limited amount and certainly not enough to accommodate a full house of guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Red Fox Den. Our week was unfortunately excessively hot, so we played a lot of the games included with the house. The Level II charger was a very welcome surprise. Having stayed in Massaunutten resort in the past, being low on the mountain is a huge plus. I would stay here again.

The Red Fox Den was a great home within the Massanutten Resort area. It was very convenient to all the resort activities, restaurants and coffee shops. The home was family oriented, with big screen TVs in family rooms and BRs, and small pool table and basketball hoops. Red Fox Den was very clean, taken care of, and well appointed. Thanks to the hosts for a lovely stay!

Overall we had an enjoyable stay at the Red Fox Den. The backyard and games in the basement were highlights for entertaining three children on a rainy weekend. A few days before check in we were surprised to learn that the fire pit was no longer available and expressed this to the hosts; upon our arrival a fire table had been added to the property which was exceptional. However, we did have an issue with an accidentally-locked bedroom door which required a locksmith as there was no key available onsite. Additionally, a large mirror in the bunk bedroom (marketed for children) fell & broke due to not being attached to the wall whatsoever. We felt the keyed door lock & mirror were safety oversights that could have easily been avoided.Lastly, the listing stated access to an indoor pool but the passes in the home were for an outdoor pool that was closed for the season & was not accepted at the indoor pool.

Great house! Beds are super comfy and the perfect amount of space for our teenage boys and their two friends! Fire pit area was a nice touch as was the game room and big screen TV in the basement. Warm and cozy home!

We had a fantastic family visit to Red Fox Den visiting our JMU student for Easter weekend. The location was perfect for Harrisonburg, enjoying hiking, adventure park, indoor water park, and local restaurants. Red Fox was clean and newly remodeled with all the amenities of home. The kids loved the basketball hoop and old Atari games in the basement. We loved morning coffee on the back deck with many deer visitors and up close views of the woodpeckers and cardinals. Dog friendly for our doodle with dog bowls, and a dog bed. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

As a non-pet person the smell of animals were a little potent. But the property was nice, clean and neat
