In beautiful updated cottage with new equipped kitchen. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a home base for outdoor adventures, this fabulous cottage is the perfect choice. We'll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place. 2 brand new e-bikes offered at your own risk. Ride the beautiful trails near the new river or just tour around the farm and nice neighborhood. Wake to beautiful sunrise and enjoy beautiful sunset on the quaint front porch of this adorable cottage. Hiking hunting fishing kayaking canoeing tubing all close by. The new river is minutes away. 2 miles from blue ridge parkway and 5 min to blue ridge music center.5 min to galax center,felts park Festival of Lights or blue grass music festival. 45 min to Grayson highlands wild ponies and the most breathtaking views! Our stay at the cottage was absolutely lovely! We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and how clean and private the quarters were. The host was very communicative and responded quickly to any inquiries we had. This property is in a great location so you are pretty convenient to both downtown Galax and not too far from Mount airy and yadkinville wineries. I would 100% consider coming back to this property.

It's a really cute and cozy cottage. We really enjoyed the garden as you approach the front and the view was beautiful. The inside has nice decor and it felt like a little home away from home.

All we needed for a quick getaway weekend. Our pups loved saying hi to the cows each morning. Hosts were great to communicate with and quick to respond to messages.

The views are beautiful and calming off the back porch. It’s well appointed and we found it to be nice and clean. Our host was very nice and communicated well. We would love to stay again and explore the area more!

The cabin was very comfortable. We needed a weekend away and this was the perfect place. We brought our 6# chihuahua, Princess, along with us. She is usually a little nervous, but she adjusted instantly. The view is beautiful and welcoming. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone needing a quiet get away.

Everything about the cabin was wonderful. The cabin had all the cooking necessities. It was very cozy and the bed was comfortable. We were extra happy they accepted cats and dogs. Michelle and Tim were great hosts. Galax is a nice town in Virginia. We will be going back to stay at the cabin again.

Every morning was spent on the rear deck with the expanse of sky and rolling green land enveloping me in peace's blanket. Finch, Bluebird, Mockingbirds, Sparrow, and Fly Catcher's were friendly neighbours who offered me song and companionship. My soul ... sighed.The cabin was comforting and calming in its cleanliness and decor. Piles of soft pillows begged me to rest upon them.The owners were kind, helpful and friendly. Michelle was and is like one of her garden blossoms - she makes you smile.What a treat to embark on several bike rides on the New River Trail using their E-Bikes!We were wrapped in a much needed blanket of rest during our extended stay.

Melissa and Brian stayed with us two weeks. They were perfect guests. They kept The Cottage very tidy. One would never know they stayed in there for two weeks as they kept it very very clean. They were both very friendly outgoing people whom I enjoyed getting to know very much. I usually give privacy and much space to my guest and I did so with Melissa and Brian, but we couldn’t help but become friends that’s how warm of people they are. They’re welcome back here anytime we truly enjoyed having them.

Cabin was great, host was very good with communication. All in all great experience except for the heat which it’s just nature being nature.

Super adorable cottage with beautiful views. The awning over the back deck was perfect to sit under while it was raining. Everything was clean and the bedding was so nice along with the comfy mattress. The cows coming to the fence and one of them staring at me was hilarious and we watched a momma bird collect food, she would sit on the rail as if she was showing us what she had. Just a wonderful time at a wonderful place. Highly recommend.

Michelle and Tim are originally from New England. They love landscaping and floral design. They once owned a bed and breakfast in Roxbury Ct. And loved it. They love meeting new people Michelle and Tim live in their beautiful farmhouse on the property with their 2 Bassett hounds and beagle. They love sharing their home with others and the stories of their life adventures. They meticulously care for the entire property themselves.

The main farm house built in 1880 originally is situated in the front of their 40 acre farm. There are a couple of barns and cottages on the property as well. The farm consists of wide open rolling fields with a creek running through. There are approximately 40 black Angus cows on the farm. The Fairview community is a welcoming lovely bunch of people of all ages, etc and uphold the true meaning of southern hospitality!

Our property is a gorgeous farm with a couple of cottages/cabins we let out to the public We allow pets to stay too! We love meeting our furry guests! “ farmview” is also conveniently located 5 short minutes to Galax Va. with all the amenities of great food shopping and fun. As Galax is known as music city and located in the blue iridge mountains. Come enjoy some of the òf the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets ever!
