Charming Keowee Lakeview Home - Near Clemson

Come enjoy some 'down time' and 'recharge' at Lake Keowee! Fish from our community dock, paddle around in your canoe, or rent a jet ski or boat and get out on the water! Searching for the perfect lake house get away? If so, then this is the house for you! This open floor plan home was built in 2008 and recently purchased and outfitted with furniture and appliances. This incredible property has the look of a countryside lodge and the feel of a beachside villa. The home is full of advancements and modern amenities, giving you the feeling you never left the comforts of your home.
Entering the main floor from the drive way, you are met with a large great room with a lofty cathedral ceiling, and a wall of windows overlooking beautiful views of the lake. The great room features a stone fireplace. Above the fireplace is a 55” HD LCD TV with sound bar, and Spectrum cable. The room also contains a couch, and two recliners. The dining area seats up to 8 and a fully equipped kitchen features brown pearl granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The main level also contains the master bedroom, master bathroom, half bathroom, and laundry room. The master bedroom has a king bed, a walk in closet and a massive bathroom with double granite sinks and a huge 10 foot plus tiled walk-in shower. A laundry room is also available for your use. The upper level consists of two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom. The first bedroom has a double bed with a single bunk bed - great for kids. The second bedroom has a king size bed. Two sliding glass doors open from the great room on to the deck with views of the lake and shared dock. Outdoor spaces include a wrap around deck, a furnished covered porch, and a propane gas grill for grilling out. Our house is located in the southwest part of Lake Keowee on a deep water cove in a no wake zone, providing a quiet setting for relaxing next to the water. Gas for your boat is just around the bend in the lake. We are conveniently just minutes from Seneca, grocery stores, shopping and restaurants. Clemson University is minutes away, offering sporting and cultural events for you to enjoy.

Nearly Perfect Stay

Stayed for Thanksgiving week 2024 rather than having my kids fly home from Clemson since there was a home game. Aside from losing the game, everything was perfect… House is very clean with all the amenities you will need for a family stay. Host communication was great and they have a great instructions book on the counter. Highly recommend and would stay there again and likely will.

Wonderful house near the lake

We loved this home and would definitely come back again. Easy drive to Clemson. Especially loved the deck, back porch & huge shower in the master bedroom. Beds were comfy!

Lovely House, Excellent Host

Brian was so helpful and communicative with us and very flexible. He even drove all the way out to help us with an internet issue we had! He bent over backwards to make sure we were happy and doing well in his lovely house!

Great spot in Seneca

We recently stayed here while moving our son into Clemson and celebrating my wife's birthday. The kids enjoyed the game and karaoke machine and taking a walk down to the lake. House was clean and the host checked in on us after checking in to see how everything was and to reach out should we need anything. Great stay.

Nice place and roomy

We spent 2 weeks and it was wonderful. We were close to our land that we own so we were able to meet builders the dock was great the location was superb for boating highly recommend The washing of towels before leaving is a lot to ask because most people leave early in the am. We left a day early so we could visit with my sister. So it worked out. Thanks for letting us use your place.

Lake House Serenity

We had a relaxing stay at Lake Keowee. House was in great shape and it was a short walk to the lake. It was dog friendly and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Memory

We had such a good time. We enjoyed great food and family time. Family game nights and being out on the lake was fantastic. My older kids Loved the kayaks !

Nice Cabin Near Lake

House is nice. Good space for hangout by out as a family. One thing to note. You have to wash, dry and put away your towels before you leave. I did not see this in their listing. So potential renters should be aware of this policy as it’s nearly impossible to take an early morning shower and then depart leaving your towels unwashed without being charged an addition $40 fee. Lesson learned.

Quiet weekend

We had an amazing time at this property. It was a great place for our girls to escape dorm life for just a little bit. The owner communicated with us to make sure our stay was going well. We look forward to visiting this area again and hopefully staying here.

Roller coaster

It was a very nice and all over the place stay! Had so much fun at the lake and boating and tubing!! There were a little ups and downs but we moved through those troubles and still ended up having a really nice stay. House was very nice and clean and extremely spacious.

Idyllic Thanksgiving setting

Three generations (and the family dog) gathered for what was a perfect Thanksgiving setting on the lake. The vistas are beautiful, the house feels rustic, but has all of the modern conveniences. It was ideal for preparing our Thanksgiving meal on Thursday and then was an easy drive to the Clemson game on Saturday. We can't wait to come back!

Truly Serenity

My husband and I, along with our two corgis, enjoyed our time at beautiful Lake Keowee in this quiet cabin. While the neighbors are close, the home felt very private. Coffee on the deck in the morning was the perfect way to start the day. We were treated to beautiful sunrises and the rise of the Hunter's moon! We had issues with the internet service and Brian was immediately responsive, even driving up to the cabin to provide a temporary solution! The community dock worked perfectly, allowing us to tie up the boat we rented from Keowee Marine. We had delicious meals at Paesanos and Vangeli's Bistro! The cabin could use some dusting and refreshed furnishings, but everything was very comfortable. Thanks again for sharing your home and allowing it to be pet friendly!

Great stay by the lake!

Perfect long weekend for 4 adults and 2 teens! We stayed Thursday - Sunday, the weather was amazing, the lake was warm and the house had all the things we needed. 10/10 - we will come again! Couldn't have asked for a better weekend than at Serenity Bay!

Comfortable three day stay.

This property is in a beautiful finger of Lake Keowee. The house is not located on the water, but a short distance to the community dock. The kitchen was well equipped but we had a had time finding a decent frypan. The towels in the upstairs bath were thin, worn and frayed. The LP gas tanks were near empty and we could not finish cooking our meal. The owner took over 24 hours to answer our questions about available beach towels and a port a crib, but gave us apologies with the response. We have never had to launder and put away all towels before a 10 am checkout. We were comfortable and the inconveniences were minor.

Great property, perfect location, tremendous owner!

Great property. This was a perfect house to get away with the family and enjoy the lake! This is a beautiful house in a quiet area. The property had everything we could need. The owner was great and actively worked to fix even the smallest of issues (internet was out for an evening, but that was due to weather). The house's location next to the woods makes it very private and quiet. The lake is great and the house has a shared dock and slip if you want to bring or use a boat. Kids enjoyed swimming off the dock as well. Would love to get the chance to rent here again!

Brian and Heather Forrester and their children, Andrew, Devin, and Aiden, welcome you to our Serenity Bay home! We purchased our Lake house just this year and are excited to share it with you. Brian is a Information Technology Director for a municipality in Greer, South Carolina and Heather college professor for Greenville Technical College. Andrew works for BMW in Greer, Devin is a 5th grader, and Aiden is only 2 years old. When we are not working or taking care of a toddler, we enjoy spending time with our families on the lake.

We have always enjoyed boating and staying on Lake Keowee. It has been our life long dream to own a lake house. Recently, we were presented with an opportunity to purchase this home and have a permanent place to enjoy our favorite past time.

We immediately feel in love with this home because of its many unique qualities. The home is located in a beautiful and well maintained community. It has a great view of the lake from within the home and on the wrap around porch. It has a paved driveway and parking for three cars. The master bathroom is also unique because of the huge shower and walk-in closet.
