NEW!Lakefront retreat with huge dock, private cove. Perfect for Clemson Football

This property is beautiful and newly renovated! It is situated on a private cove directly on Lake Hartwell. Either come for relaxation, for the 7 minute drive to Clemson to root for some Clemson Football, or make College visits! The property has a huge dock, sleeps up to 12, and offers many amenities. Day trip to Asheville NC, Charlotte NC, Greenville SC, and various other surrounding areas!

You can enjoy your time indoors relaxing on the screen porch, reading, working on puzzles, playing board games, playing darts or ping pong, or cooking/baking in the fully equipped kitchen. For those that prefer outdoor activites, sit on the dock, take a swim, fish, or spend the day on the paddleboards or kayaks provided; you can pull right up to a number of many beachable areas for a rest, swim, or nice picnic.

Please note, all renters will be required to sign a rental agreement and provide a national photo ID. No pets, and no renter under the age of 26. Your rental will be terminated immediately if you are found to be in violation of these terms.

House was perfect for Clemson graduation weekend. Great location and lots of room for our small group to spread out. Host is so gracious about keeping a stocked kitchen with coffee/tea supplies, snacks, etc. The driveway is no joke though! Would definitely stay here again.

Just wanted to jump on and say this property was top notch! The view out on the lake was beautiful and the house provided everything we needed. We were in town for the George Strait concert and getting to the stadium was really quick. Close enough to everything you would need (store, or downtown wise), but still far enough to not get caught up in the hustle and bustle. We would all recommend this property if you are in town for a football game or have something special going on in Clemson.

We had a wonderful stay! This was such a cozy retreat for our family of four plus a grandparent, and it had plenty of space for everyone to spread out during our nearly week-long visit.The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and thoughtfully labeled, with plenty of spices, butter, and other cooking essentials that made preparing meals easy. The beds and linens were clean and comfortable, and the entire home felt welcoming.Our kids absolutely loved the bunk room with the Pac-Man arcade game and foosball table... they declared it the "best house ever!" There were also plenty of books, games, and puzzles to enjoy during downtime. Outside, we made great use of the grill, spent evenings around the fire pit making s'mores, fished off the dock (the water was low during our stay, so fishing was a little slow), and had a great time taking the kayaks out with the kids. There were some cute hiking spots nearby with a waterfall that we enjoyed.The location was excellent, convenient to Clemson and close to Walmart/stores, making it easy to grab anything we needed. One tip for future guests: the driveway is steep, so definitely follow the hosts' arrival instructions.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable, family-friendly place to relax and enjoy the lake.

Love visiting Clemson every summer to enjoy the lake and area. Location was great, boat access was perfect and close to Clemson. The driveway is definitely a challenge, but house was wonderful, everything we needed and well stocked.

The house is well maintained, clean and as advertised. Great dock for the lake. The owner provided kayaks and paddle boards. They also provided little extras like teas, coffee and snacks. We loved our stay and highly recommend. The owners were very easy to deal with. Go Tigers!

Great location and great stay!

It is a great waterfront property and is very close to Clemson for games. I would highly recommend and would book it again. Check in process was very easy and Matt responded quickly. The driveway is very steep, I recommend you heed the warning of high profile vehicles only.

Beautiful property! The driveway is steep so I appreciate the heads up from the owner. We were able to explore Clemson and have a private space to do lake activities. The one thing I will mention is the amount of spider webs. Y'all may want to keep an eye on how many pop up around the back.

Great getaway - perfect distance from Clemson U

Stayed for the week while my son went to Clemson ⚽️ camp. We were in a quiet area on the lake yet minutes from campus. We enjoyed kayaking from our backyard, several day trips to nearby waterfalls and a day of shopping in Greenville. Great stay (all the little conveniences like toiletries, water bottles, snacks and more) with great owners who were super friendly and quick to respond!

This was the most disappointing rental we have ever had. It has a 10/10 which is no way close to being accurate. Unfortunately, due to the complexity of our weekend with my daughters graduation and birthday events I did not have time to address this. There would have been no way to have time to request a refund and switch to another home. (Arriving on Thursday with full agenda and time restraints) I have a collection of photos available. There was trash dropped on front porch, spider webs and dirt to welcome us. The back deck was beyond dirty. I had to take dishes out of drawers and cabinets and run dishwasher to have something to use because dirty forks, plates, cups and spatulas were put away as clean. All cabinets doors should have been wiped clean. Master bedroom bed was clean and comfortable but sheets were worn and pilling. Partially broken bed upstairs (futon type)..... Back yard was mowed and acceptable but all other areas were overgrown. Spider webs were abundant inside and out. The grill was very dirty and empty of gas, animal feces on screen in porch and broken chairs on dock. We had to buy new grill brush to attempt to make it usuable.The description was inaccurate and highly overcharged for what it was. I have stayed in locations down there for 5 years and never had this type of situation. Location was the only 10/10.

Great location, had plenty of room for us and the lake access was amazing. Grandkids love the dock to jump off and swim. We had everything we needed in the house. A lot of items were furnished in bathrooms and kitchen. The master bedroom had an awesome bed. We will consider coming back here. We do annual family trip. I usually do a VRBO trip 3 times a year and this was a good stay. Highly recommend. Thanks
