Tropic Isle #805 is a west corner gulf-front 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium located on the 8th floor overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 1000 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living area. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with a washer and dryer. There are two full baths. The street-side master has an en suite bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower. The hall bathroom has a tub/shower combo. King, two twins, sofa sleeper. Sleeps 6 | 2 car limit

Tropic Isle is an 8-story building with 5 units per floor located 0.3 miles West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Tropic Isle has an outdoor pool and grilling area.

STAY AND PLAY
This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo, and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

Great little beach getaway

The Perfect Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were three ladies over 65 who just needed and wanted a girls' getaway from a lot of things, and the beach is always the answer. Our condo in Gulf Shores was perfect! Clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen (although we did have to buy a cork screw to open wine), plenty of towels, sparkling bathrooms and comfy beds. The view from the balcony was wonderful, and being on the corner offered us a panoramic scene. The TV had a dish so we were able to see anything we wanted. The pool was crystal clear and so refreshing after a hot day on the beach. We can't wait to go back next year!

Filthy bathrooms

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The master shower was so nasty, we didn't use it. The hall bathtub was poorly patched and should be replaced for what we paid to rent it.

Family beach trip

Room was nice and the balcony was excellent. Nice furniture and a well equipped kitchen. Beds were hard, but not terrible. Pool was small. The beach was excellent.

Our favorite spot

Our family stayed for 4 nights, we have 4 kids and my wife and I and have been vacationing to the area for 10 years and this was by far our best experience. The property was clean and well kept. Very spacious and right on the beach. We loved it. Not a single complaint.

Nice comfy furniture and decor. They provided several board games and activities. TV was nice and big to watch college world series. Pool was never crowded. Carts readily available for check in/out. Walk to the beach was really nice. Lots of space to set up on the beach. Would definitely recommend!

Best Location

Loved this spot so much. It’s our second year in a row staying. Communication was perfect. Any questions or concerns were addressed immediately. Will definitely keep returning!

Easy Walk to Everything

The condo was perfect for what we needed. We were in town for a volleyball tournament, so being within easy walking distance to the courts was key. Great location and the condo had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was in walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Condo was clean and comfortable. Water was hot in the showers very fast. Biggest complaint was I had to rearrange cabinets to have room for the food items we brought and I didn’t realize there were no potholders to take hot dishes out of the oven. Loved having a washer and dryer in the condo. Property management was very responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had rented several different units here for the same week to accommodate our family. This unit is very outdated. The view is beautiful but was a little disappointed in the unit itself. Other than that, we had a great vacation. Will definitely be back as we come every year, I will make sure not to rent this unit again.

Smooth and Relaxing

Just okay Wouldn’t stay here again

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our stay in this unit was okay, but for the price we paid it did not meet our expectations. PROS:Friendly management company, great location, incredible views. CONS: Entry door frame was busted (looked like it’s been kicked in) the locks still worked but that was our first impression of the unit and not a good one, unit could use a deep clean and some tlc, a/c sounds like a rocketship ready to blast off every time it turns on so be prepared to wake up multiple times a night, and finally when we went to use the dishwasher the last day of our trip it didn’t work so we got to do dishes by hand on vacation yay!

Slaying the Dragons

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a prime beach property. It should be treated as such. When we arrived on 12-20, the kitchen sink was backed by a clogged disposal, the television was inoperable, the clothes washer did not operate and the fridge ice maker does not work.It took two separate repairmen to fix the TV and the tech guy who came to fix the washer was unsuccessful and I told him don't worry about it---we'll get by without it. But honestly, the disrepair of the property was less disgusting than the arrogant and dismissive reception by the manager at the desk when I checked in. He waved me off to the box outside in the rain to pick up my room entry directions. Nice.What is so hard to understand is that every other dealing I have had with Gulf Coast Rental personnel over the years has been great.
