This private, gated gem is located in the heart of Southampton, tucked away in the downtown core. This unique space has spacious grounds and gardens, yet is a five minute walk to the lake beach front. Situated on the main strip, it offers easy access to restaurants, bars, shopping, kayak rentals, the museum and more.
Tasteful decor, rounded walls, gas fireplace, pine floors, fully equipped kitchen, BB-Q, fire pit & parking. Bath & hand towels, blankets provided. Bed linens ( top, fitted queen sheets, pillow cases not supplied ). Public internet is usually avaliable. The master bedroom is air-conditioned.
No pets / No smoking inside.

excellent location with a very nice and private garden area. The kitchen was very usable and well appointed. Wifi would be nice as the free city wifi just doesn't cut it.

Great location - close to the action

We spent 5 nights here - enjoyed being close walking distance to take and restaurants. Garden lovely to hang out in. Quaint, retro feel.

Overall an amazingly positive expressive in a very romantic beach side town. A couple hiccups in our stay were immediately handled with a phone call to the owner who made things right by us. We're both looking forward to booking the same place in the near future.

Close to the beach

Very clean property - close to the beach (around 2 min. walk). Great to watch sunsets on the beach. Also - right beside the local bakery which we could smell every morning when we opened the front door. Also close to other local beaches such as Port Elgin and Sauble Beach.

This apartment is in an incredible location. It is next to a bakery, bike shop, and library. It is easy walking distance to the beach, several restaurants, and a coffee shop. We stayed for a week and did a lot of wonderful gravel biking, hiking, and paddle boarding. The host, Rob, was lovely and his communications were clear. The apartment was comfortable with great lighting, AC in the bedroom, and was very clean. Would love to stay again!

Great property and location.

The unit was just as described. Although we were near the main road, the propertu is nestled away from any noise so it waa very private and quaint. Many shops, restaurants, a great bakery and ice cream shop. Short walk to the beach - watched the sunset every night. Rob was an excellent host - will likely return.

We arrived at this Cottage in Southampton on the 17th and left on the 20th.PROS *Close to the beach, restaurants and main strip*Inside Cottage was clean*Parking was FreeCONS*Construction woke us up every morning at 7:45 am*Musty oder inside cottage, opening windows helped*Bathroom tap had hardly any water coming out*Internet, spotty at best. Tv not working for 2 days..Very frustrating as it rained one whole day, and nothing to do but go on our ipads.*Backyard, full of leaves and not cleaned.

Sorry for the High Street construction that's beyond my control. The dampness sometimes experienced at the cottage is the lakeside effect. Lastly, the intense heat and at times drout this summer made the leaves fall early which were delt with in between bookings.

The apartment was exactly what the pictures looked like. It was very easy accessing and Robert was always available to get a hold of. The location is fantastic as it is on the main street and about a 5 minute walk to the lake. The only issue we had was the listing stated that there was wifi and there is not. We had to use the library and it just did not connect well and didn't stay on. Also the tv does not work because there is no wifi which was unfortunate as it rained one night and it would have been nice to watch a movie. Also you have to bring your own linens which was not a problem, just know that when booking. Other than that everything was great. Very clean and cozy place.

A couple of recommendations to improve an otherwise excellent stay.My partner is a very short person which means that the latch situation on the back gate was impossible for her to use.The facilities for clothes drying were difficult to use with the television in front of the dryer panel. A clothes line would also help.Thank you.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay at the Garden Suite. It was nicely located in the downtown core of South Hampton. A quick walk down to the beach. The bakery next door is absolutely amazing and we also really enjoyed the Bruce County Playhouse. If they are doing a theatre production when you are in South Hampton it is worth the ticket which is also very reasonably priced.
