Loved or stay here! Robert was amazing and so sweet! We had a little mixup, but it was resolved very quickly and I would definitely stay at this property again. Perfect, peaceful and relaxing.

We wanted a nice place to stay to relax, visit and play cards. It was the perfect place. It had plenty of room and a huge wrap around porch with rockers and a swing. We enjoyed sitting on the porch while it rained. If you want a cabin in the woods and enjoy the quiet countryside definitely rent this place.

Awesome cabin away from the city, but not too far away. We stayed here to go to the water park less than 20 minutes away. Kids loved it. Owner replied quickly and was polite. Will definitely consider coming back!

The house was great and in a perfect location for us visiting WSCC. Wondering by the creek during the day and playing pool at night. Will book again.

Everything was fine with the property, we even got to see a couple of deer trot through the front yard as we sat on the porch swing drinking coffee one morning. If there was anything I’d suggest to other renters, enter the address into your map app. The pinned location on VRBO does not bring you to the cabin. It brings you to another cabin very close by, but is probably one that belongs to the same owners, given it’s similarity to the one in this listing. The host, Robert, was very helpful and quick to get us sorted, though, so no great loss. If ever we find ourselves in need of a place to stay in this area again, we will definitely look into this one.

Absolutely adorable & very spacious original log home on a small hill, in the woods with very beautiful surroundings. Great large porch with rocking chairs that we enjoyed very much. Large, stocked kitchen& nice wood carved dining table with benches We loved all the neat, interesting cabin decor. We immediately felt right at home! Must mention that there was some definite issues with the many ladybugs coming inside & more importantly the upstairs a/c unit did not cool as well as the downstairs and of course upstairs is where heat rises, so the best a/c unit should be upstairs, but discussed those 2 issues with host and feel he will take care of both issues. He was very nice and easy to communicate with. it’s really a great cabin & and definitely worth checking it out for your next stay. The cabin rate is very reasonably priced. If you want to get away for some rest, relaxation, and just chill with a good book, or get out in nature, maybe walk some trails, this cabin is the perfect place to do that.

We are so glad you enjoyed your visit and stay at our rustic log cabin. When you asked if you could check in early because of needing to get dressed for the family wedding, we were happy to accommodate. 🙂 Our log cabin is in the woods, so yes, we have lots of wildlife and insects and critters to try to manage and control. We have sprayed several times but It has been a really bad year for the Asian beetles. Luckily, they all leave in March and April. We have our biggest AC unit upstairs, but the PCB control board unluckily went out on it during that weekend (according to our AC tech). It was not blowing cold air. Thanks again

This is a simply gorgeous cabin. We were after quiet, woodsy and remote and it was that and more. We appreciated the nice touches of the snacks, super comfy beds. We spent a lot of time on the porch swing and rocking chairs just appreciating the beauty. Our host, Robert lives nearby and offered to take us on an ATV tour of his land all the while sharing the stories about how it all came to be. We hope to come back really soon.
