Home to Sheppard Air Base, Midwestern State University, and the Hotter n Hell 100 bike race, as well as a slew of other attractions, this extremely comfortable home is directly adjacent to the country club/country club cottage area in Wichita Falls-the perfect area for a relaxing, shaded walk, run or bike ride. It's walking distance to Parker Square, which features Cinemark Theatre with stadium seating, Jason's deli and so much more!

This bright open space has 3 spacious, well appointed bedrooms, with an extremely comfortable king, a super soft Tempurpedic king and a comfortable queen sized bed. The recently updated bathroom down the hall has everything you need and more, including a small selection of toiletries, just in case.

The completely renovated kitchen just calls out for use with it's beautiful granite countertop and everything the experienced cook would need, including a bar opening up the space to the dining area, just waiting for your guests to sidle up to and chat.

Add in the gorgeous living room prime for entertaining or just kicking back to watch a blu-ray movie on the flat screen and you'll soon find you don't want to leave! The Roku has more than you can watch in a lifetime if you decide to kick back for a little downtime.

Pets may be accepted, pending owner acceptance. There is a flat $50 fee for any allowed pets.

When you have all of this and the ease of access to hiking, biking, golfing and more, the only question is, why isn't your vacation here yet?

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean, cozy, and comfortable, and we felt right at home. Everything was well kept and had everything we needed. Shannon was welcoming and responsive. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The property was sort of bohemian with unusual furnishings, fully equipped with anything you might need, and was beautiful and clean.

Shannon is an outstanding host. From beginning to end she was in constant communication with us. The accommodations were perfect for what we were wanting,Quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds, great air conditioning, centrally located. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch in the rocking chairs watching the squirrels and listening to the birds. Evenings on the porch just as enjoyable.

Great Stay

Very nice place to stay. Has everything you need. Owner is very nice, checks to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. We will be staying there again!

The house was very nice! It had everything we needed! The fenced in yard was great for our pets! The location was perfect- lots of shopping and restaurants. We will definitely come again!

Enjoyed the stay

Location was very convenient to shopping & restaurants. The LR could use some comfy seating; kitchen had everything we needed during our stay. The owner was very responsive to questions, but due to a contract date misunderstanding we had to cut our vacation a bit short.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay! If you would please let me know what in particular you're referencing in the living room, I would appreciate it. I've never heard anything about the living room furniture being anything but super comfortable but I will check it out! I'm glad you enjoyed the kitchen so much-we cook a lot ourselves and always try to have everything we would want ourselves. :) I apologize for the misunderstanding about the checkout date, I would have been happy to extend your stay, had it not been for another guest coming in. Hope you're having a wonderful time back home-I look forward to your next visit!

Shannon, the host was absolutely amazing! The house was in a safe older neighborhood close to everything. Great location!The house was clean and had everything you would need if you choose to cook. We always eat out but Shannon has the house stocked with EVERYTHING. We took our two fur babies, there is a fenced in back yard which was great. Also, the home is pet friendly however there was no evidence of pet hair from previous guests floating around. The home is CLEAN and in a safe neighborhood! You will not be disappointed staying there. We had a great time exploring TX and hope to return soon! Will definitely come back to this home if it has availability.

Golf Tournament

We stayed in Wichita Falls for the Texas/Oklahoma junior golf tournament. The house was clean with very comfortable beds for all of us. Excellent location to both golf courses- WFCC and Weeks Park.

Cozy and comfortable!

We stayed here for 2 months while we were in transition for a move. This cozy and comfy home was perfect for us. Very nice kitchen! Shannon is a wonderful host!

wedding visit

The home was the perfect setting for our group. The decor made the wedding party pictures great. The home is much larger than the pictures online show. We had a great time and Shannon is a wonderful host.

I'm a very friendly, outgoing person-and I typically am a font of information when it comes to local eateries and entertainment. I LOVE to travel, and one of my favorite things about rentals is that it can bring the travel to you, in a sense. I get to meet new people with so many different stories, and it's really incredible.

I've traveled all over, and even lived in Italy for a while. France, Portugal, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland-I've got some stories. For now, I'm trying to travel a little closer to home, though I've made it to quite a few corners of the domestic U S of A, don't worry. So I've got a few stories myself, but I'm most interested in yours. :)

A few things I couldn't live without are houseslippers, a book, chapstick...that's probably it. For me, travel is all about the local people, and Homeaway gets me in touch with locals from the start. Local dives, local hangouts, that's what I'm looking for when I go somewhere new, and if I could go on a really long walk when I get there, all the better. I like to get a little lost and find my way back-you stumble across some of the best things when you get lost, sometimes.

As a host, it really depends on you and what you're looking for, sometimes you just need a place to stay, and I get that. But if you'd like to swap stories, I'm all for that. I like to try to locate something local going on around here and pass that along to you, just in case.

I'm born and raised in Wichita Falls and really love this town. I bought this house mainly because of it's layout and location. I've done so much renovation since I bought it, and it shows in the open, inviting floor-plan. Midwestern State University is one street over, and a quick stroll can take you deeper into country club or over to Parker Square shopping center, with Cinemark movie theater, Jason's Deli, the Shoe Closet, and so much more.

Wichita Falls is a great town with little traffic, making it easy to get where you're going quickly, but this location makes it even easier, as it's right in the middle of everything you may need.

This home has been beautifully renovated and furnished. There are granite countertops in the fully updated kitchen with everything you could need to put together the meal of your choice. There's a ventless fireplace in the redone living room waiting to be turned on into a roaring fire.
