The property was perfect for our lake vacation, especially as we traveled with our dogs! The lake was beautiful and water was calm almost every day. We had plenty of space in the house, and the yard is beautiful.

Very nice, clean cabin. Beautiful view. We had a relaxing stay in this roomy cabin. Well equipped with everything one would need. We enjoyed visiting the local sites, Fort Ticonderoga etc. and drove to Vermont over the bridge and took on the beautiful scenery.Our little dog enjoyed the stay as well with a huge lawn.

the house was secluded and quiet. It was very clean. a bit of a drive to get anywhere and not a whole lot to do. you need to have a google account to use the tv which we do not have and the american flag needs to be replaced desparately. very comfortable accomodations. the train going by during the night wasnt too bad either. we go use to it and enjoyed watching the squirrels gather the hickory nuts as they passed by the window several times a day. all in all, very nice.

Overall, it was a great location and a great stay. Very private and quiet with excellent views. That was most important to us. If you are a sensitive sleeper, bring a sound machine to help block the occasional train or duck hunters who start shooting near the lake early in the morning during duck season. We were not at the house much, but heard the train once during the day and a couple of times at night when we got up to use the bathroom. The bed was very bouncy and non-supportive and sank several inches with weight, causing us both to roll toward the middle. If you prefer a firm, supportive bed, you may not like this one. It was really soft and not ideal for us. The kitchen had most basics, and we were pleasantly surprised to find spices, coffee and condiments. Extra pillows and blankets were also appreciated. The hosts can be slow to respond, and no instructions were provided for the heat, washer/dryer combo or fireplace. It took us two days and many attempts to get the fireplace working, as there is no simple on/off switch. There is also no hair dryer, which surprised us since this was the first rental we’ve ever stayed in without one. Hopefully the hosts will add one for future guests. We didn't end up using the canoes or golf cart, but we were glad to have those extra options. Overall, we would definitely recommend the property, but I wanted other sensitive sleepers to be aware of the things I mentioned so they can plan accordingly.

Thanks for the feedback. If you plan on staying just about anywhere on lake champlain in NY you are guaranteed to hear the train as it runs the entire length of the lake from Canada. We have not in the past provided instructions on basic home item use but after your feedback we will add it for next season. We advise all guest to look at the amenities list before booking and if asked we would be more than happy to provide items that may improve stays.

Lovely well stocked home on the lake. Waking up was to a gorgeous sunrise. We especially enjoyed the AC and the ease of layout of the home and property. The yard is huge and the interior is way nicer than the photos. Lots of fun stuff to do in the area! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time in Crown Point. The view was outstanding. My teenage boys had a great time kayaking on the lake. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing retreat, this is the place!

We loved this property and will absolutely be staying here again!! The view from the living room was amazing. We loved the yard and the kids loved playing by the water. Most well stocked rental we have ever stayed in!

''We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The property was exactly as pictured-clean, comfortable,and well-equipped. Kitchen had everthing we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of local attractions in the area. Huge yard! My dog loved it. Great lake view from the living room! And the fishing was top notch! We have reservation 3 for days in June!!
