The condo was freshly painted, clean and right on the beach, just as the listing stated. There are gift shops, a small grocery store, an ice cream shop, restaurants and more all easily within walking distance. The communication was easy and all went smoothly. We had a great time and would stay there again!

Signature was great on responding

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was well stocked for every need. Only concern was front left bedroom was about 15 degrees different hotter then other rooms. Unfortunately we had 2 of our grand babies in there so not good.

Beach view was great! The beds were comfortable. Everyone slept great. There was plenty room for our large family to spread out on nights in. The pool is amazing for all ages. There is a very gradual slope into the pool so that toddlers have lots of room to play while the older kids have plenty space in the deeper side. Which is great for when they need a break from the beautiful beach. There is multiple great restaurants, stores, and ice cream shop within walking distance. This is our second time staying at the San Carlos and we were not disappointed.

This apartment is EXACTLY as shown on VRBO. HUGE balcony. It’s really nice and has lots of dishes, pots and utensils. Full kitchen. No spices so bring some of that.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place had everything we needed. Host was clear on check and check out procedures. They checked in on us after a day or 2 to make sure everything was working and to let them know if we needed anything. Pool was amazing for kids and beach access was easy. Several games in the cabinet for family night and umbrella in closet for beach.

This was a beautiful condo, and it came equipped with everything we needed for a great vacation. The floors were coming apart in places, and the room with the bunks was very warm.

Great Location, Very Nice Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of 4 enjoyed our stay in Gulf Shores at San Carlos. Condo 801 was very roomy and came equipped with everything we needed. It was clean and updated with with comfortable and appealing furnishings. The location on the 8th floor was perfect and provided great views of the beach and the ocean. The complex is only a short walk to a lot of great offerings.My only minor gripe (which other reviewers have commented on) is the parking situation. You must pay a $50 fee to purchase a required parking pass. There are two areas available to park with one being the immediate area in and around the complex which provides very limited space for parking during peak season. The other is in a designated lot across a 4 lane highway. The crossing to get to this lot isn't remotely near a traffic light or crosswalk, and there is no center island so I found myself playing chicken with oncoming traffic each and every day retrieving and parking my car. Crossing the road in the dark added another level to the challenge. Had the $50 fee secured me a spot by the complex, I would not have a complaint, nor would I have a complaint if the lot across the street had been free parking and I personally chose to run the gauntlet.I would give this property a 5 star rating if there wasn't a parking issue, but the safety implications of crossing the 4 lane road after having to pay a $50 parking fee are an issue for me.
