This was the perfect place for a solo getaway! I had my space but knew Kathi was close at hand should I need anything. The drive from Portland was long enough to feel "away" but short enough to be practical. The tiny house won my heart! You can feel the care that went into every detail. I look forward to returning!

Kathi is a communicative and generous host. This tiny home is the cutest, and the interior is spotless. The bed is very comfortable and the location is SO quiet. We woke up to deer on our doorstep :) This home is definitely for two people who like each other, and who have no physical limitations climbing in to the loft.

Thank you too for the laugh; yes, the TH is very cozy and invites closeness. I think that is one of its best aspects - unless you are with a foe! We hope to see you again, perhaps in summer when you can truly enjoy the deck and the deer. :-)

What a treat! We are so happy to have found Kathi 's property. Easy drive from Portland, quiet and so well laid out, we really enjoyed our time. We should have booked a second night and will definitely be back. My only suggestion would be to provide more information about the trail we saw and other local activities. What a great use of space, loved the barstools! Thank you, Kathi, for a wonderful restful space. We will tell all our friends & hope to return soon!

The tiny house was perfect for a bicycle ride from Vernonia to Banks and back on the fully paved rails-to-trails. The host communicated early on that the tiny house is 18 miles from the Banks-Vernonia trail. We transported our bikes on the car rack to Vernonia Lake trailhead, a less busy trailhead than the Banks Trailhead. After the ride, we enjoyed an ice-cream cone at the trailhead and tasty gyros, hummus, Mediterranean salad and naan at the Blue House Cafe.The tiny house had the essential coffee! Instructions were clear and simple to follow and the space was clean. We enjoyed our stay and would return to the tiny house.
