The house features two bathrooms, each equipped with a refreshing shower and washer/dryer for convenience. Two work areas are available to check your emails. Whether you’re cooling off on the covered porch or staying cozy with the gas fireplace, comfort is always within reach. This peaceful retreat invites guests to unwind after a day of exploring. Families and friends can take advantage of the huge back yard! Enjoy all that Evansville has to offer when you stay at our place. Close to UE, USI, Ford Center, casinos, zoo, hospitals, and plenty of shopping. Within an hours drive are historic and artisan New Harmony, New Harmony State Park, Santa Claus, IN with Holiday World Splash and Safari, the elegant West Baden Hotel in French Lick, IN along with wine tasting in that area.

Our stay was great! The house is beautiful and clean. Mindy is a great host! She was driving by and saw us outside so she stopped to say hi. If you are looking for a beautiful, clean home in the Evansville area, this is the place!!

The property is so well cared for which made for a wonderful stay. You can tell that this home was remodeled with lots of love and attention to detail. Our 5-day stay was so relaxed and our three kids loved the back yard space to run around in with their dad! Lots of memories made while here! We hope to come back on our next trip to Evansville!

We have been traveling to the Evansville-area for several plus years to attend events and this property is our new favorite. We have stayed near the downtown and locations west, but this location is wonderful. Easy access to Evansville and located on a large multi-acre property that is quiet and relaxing, especially when sharing time around the fire pit or the very warm, comfy and inviting gas fire place in the living room. Modern appliances through-out an absolutely charming house. I’m sure we will return to Evansville for future events and this location will be the first on our list of the most desirable of digs to put our feet up to decompress and relax when visiting.

Hi Mindy,Thank you for a wonderful stay. We did have an issue with the towel rack in the lower bathroom, behind the door. The right end isn’t tight and it fell off several times when the door was opened too far. It did chip some paint off the wall, so sorry about that. All of the sheets and towels are next to the washer. The trash has been placed outside. We loved the renovations and the location. The driveway was a bit hard to hit well! Thanks for the additional paper products. We needed a scrubber for the pans. Loved the porch in the mornings, and the fire place at night. The smoke alarm battery may need changing. It went off when we were cooking three times. It was beeping when we left. Ed and Debi

I bought this house from my 96 year old friend and was determined to fix it up in her honor. The outside charm was something I was not willing to give up! The inside charm, arches, all original wood trim and floors, were also not to be altered. I did as much work myself as I possibly could, covering every inch with paint, gutting the kitchen and bathroom, and turning the once filled attic into a bedroom and bathroom! As I was nearing completion, I knew I wanted to share this house with others. I am a frequent VRBO renter and have loved the uniqueness and charm of every house I’ve been on! I wanted to share those unique experiences with everyone!

The neighborhood is outside city limits, but close enough to be convenient. The yard is on almost 2 acres so feels like country living!
