Welcome to Oakside Retreat
Oakside Retreat is a private, fully remodeled 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home tucked away at the end of a quiet street in Evansville. Surrounded by mature trees, this thoughtfully designed property offers comfort, style, and space to relax—perfect for weekend getaways, family visits, or longer stays.


The Space
Inside, you'll find a bright and open layout with modern finishes and stylish furnishings throughout. The spacious living area offers comfortable seating and a Smart TV, ideal for relaxing after a day out. The fully equipped kitchen includes a large island, perfect for meal prep, casual dining, or entertaining.


Game Room
A detached game room provides plenty of entertainment for all ages. Features include:

• Full-size pool table
• Classic Pac-Man arcade game
• A variety of board games
• Smart TV and lounge seating

Whether it’s family game night or unwinding with friends, the game room offers a fun retreat steps from the main house.


Outdoor Space
The backyard is fully fenced and designed for enjoyment, with:

• A wood-burning Solo Stove fire pit
• String lights for evening ambiance
• Picnic table and Adirondack chairs
• Frisbee golf nets
• Giant Connect 4 and Yahtzee dice

It’s a great space for gathering, playing games, or enjoying a peaceful moment outdoors.

Awesome space indoors and out. The outdoor space was large and included a game room in the garage. Everything was new indoors and great communication with the host. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was very nice just needs a deep cleaning. Lots of spider webs and dead bugs. Everything else was very nice. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need.The "man cave" garage was nice. It was very hot outside and no ac in the garage so pretty warm in there. Also needed a good cleaning. Lots of spiders and webs. Nice pool table and air hockey.

We had a fun stay! The kitchen was fully equipped which made it easy to prepare meals. The game room was fun for all of us. It was easy to communicate with the host.

Our stay was good and the property was as describe. We were in town for a weeding so we didn’t spend a lot of time hanging out at the house. Game room was cool and wish we had more time to enjoy it. Could use a few more bathroom and kitchen linens, but other than that we would definitely stay here again.

The home was very nicely decorated, very clean and in a great location at the end of a street. The backyard is very beautiful where you can hang out and enjoy being outside. The game room is a great touch and would have been used more if we would have been in town longer. Enough space for our family. Great and quick communication by property owner/manager. Location was close to University of Evansville where we spent most of our time for baseball.

Nice place for the most part. It’s an older home that has been renovated with new touches. The house could have been cleaner. We found a lot of dead bugs. There was dirt/dust under beds and TV stand. It would be nice if there was a way to get AC in the game room. The thermostat was initially set to keep reverting to a program which made it get really hot the first night we were there. The host responded to my message quickly about to how fix that. The beds were comfy. Overall it was a nice place, but maybe a little expensive for what you get. The 170 cleaning fee is crazy considering how clean the place was.

Wedding weekend

Bobby’s place was perfect for our family stay in Evansville. The location was convenient and the house was exactly as described - clean and comfortable. Would def stay here again!

Bobby was great to work with and instantly returned messages and needs. Home is in a convient area to a lot of the activities we travelled on this trip for, which was seeing family. I would not hesitate renting again, but will be better prepared. Listing mentions mosquitos and you'll definitely want to bring spray. The back yard is lush and a great play area for your fur friends, but the skeeters are pretty thick.Probably needs to talk with the crew that attends to the home between visits. Outside trashcans were full, so we had to take trash off and the grill has not been cleaned in quite awhile. We just threw on some aluminum foil. "Game room" area was much smaller than it appeared in the listing and is in the garage and not climate controlled, so make sure to bring some fans during the hotter months if you're going to use the area.Price point really made a few irritations well worth working through them and as mentioned, I would not hesitate renting again.

Fun time!

Check in was easy, host was very nice and welcoming and allowed us to stay an extra night. The only issue is the game room was filled with bugs and spiderwebs but we cleaned it out and it was alright. Overall amazing stay!

Exceptional rental. Everything needed was available. The game room was such a hit with the younger ones. We would love to rent this location again.

Our stay at your Oakside Retreat was Perfect!

This property was better than they described it for our Family. We enjoyed the game room, the beds slept great and it was super stocked with dishes and bedding. Wish the weather was a little warmer to enjoy all the outdoor activities they had on hand. WWould definately recommend!
