Cabin was 4 stars for us, has a few things to address/fix

We stayed at the Playhouse Cinema over the July 4th holiday with a total of 4 families. While the cabin was clean, our group was disappointed in some aspects of our stay. Pros: -All spaces and appliances were clean -Location to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood was only a 15-20 minute drive -The newer decorations like lamps, rug, chairs, etc, were a nice touch. -The grill was full of gas. -The main and lower levels of the cabin were nicely cooled. -There were lots of pillows and blankets provided. Cons: -There was no welcome guide in the cabin. When we had questions about the pool, I had to call the 1-800 Eden Crest line and the rep couldn’t answer my question about times. -The outdoor pool was small and water was very cloudy. Also the water fall was not working which resulted in it looking like a swamp. It was also far from our cabin. We would have liked to walk to the pool, but that was not possible given the distance, hills and high temperatures. -The cooking utensils were plastic and poor quality. -The grill ignitor should be replaced as it didn’t work. -The upper level of the cabin was very warm despite being set at the coolest temp possible. -The upper level loft area was much smaller than what was portrayed in the listing. Overall, the cabin met the needs of our group but we probably wouldn’t stay there again. We had thought the property was more of a gated community, staffed resort. This is just our feedback though others may have a different experience

Amazing cabin!

This cabin was perfect for our family vacation of 8! Our two kids absolutely loved the kids cabin upstairs! The string lights were a cute touch! We appreciated having the box fan for the kids cabin since it can get a little warm during the summer days. This cabin was exactly as described & everyone enjoyed having their own bedroom and bathroom. The downstairs pool table was also a huge hit! The checkin and out process was a breeze. The owner was quick to answer my question prior to our arrival. This was a perfect place to stay for our first trip to the Pigeon Forge area!

Loved it!!

This was a great place to stay for our 1st trip to Tennessee. My grandkids absolutely loved the little cabin inside!! And the rest of the family loved having our own bedrooms. What I liked most was there was no one on either side of us so the peacefulness was great!

Spacious Cabin in a Great Quiet Location

Four adults and two kids, ages 6 and 3, stayed for a long weekend. The cabin had more than enough space for us, and the kids loved the mini cabin inside. The location was quiet but a close drive to lots of activities. We enjoyed the nearby brewery (Iron Forge I think). We would stay here again.

Really nice cabin with a nice mountain view. Very clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved the small cabin playhouse to sleep in. Overall a good place to stay.

Shower

According to the discription and the pictures it appeared there was a walk in shower on the main floor however there was not it was a tub shower combo. The bathroom was very small. I have to use a walker because of mobility issues and the bathroom and shower was very difficult for me to use.. Overall the cabin was very nice! The tvs would not work at the same time. This was the only other problem! We all enjoyed our time together! Thank you

Perfect

The property was as listed and everything was great. We were planning on cooking a lot for Thanksgiving and there were plenty of pots, pans and everything we needed. We all said this was the nicest cabin we have rented in the area and will always try to lock this property down every year.

Roomy Cabin in Great Location

The only negative comment is the shower curtain in the 1st floor bathrom was black at the bottom. Our grandson's...age 12,8 and 3 loved the playhouse! The 12 year old said that was the best cabin we had ever had snd we have had many! The access to the cabin was easy and a great location. We love the Wears Valley area. We had plenty of room for our family of 11.

Family Trip

Stayed here 4 nights with a family group of 6 adults and 3 children. Very pleased with this cabin. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. The “kids cabin” was a big hit along with the pool table and hot tub. Easy drive into town and to Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and zip lining sites. Reservation included access to indoor/outdoor pool and a free ticket to several activities. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for our family

This property was perfect for our extended family trip. The teens had a great basement hangout for movie nights and gaming, the littles loved the kid cabin which is right next to the main suite, and the grandparents had a suite of their own too. Close enough to the Parkway for convenience but still with a mountain feel. We would stay again!

We had a great time. The kids loved the house. The property was beautiful, clean, and comfortable for all of us. Location was perfect distance to all the fun things. Communication with property management was always easy.

Great Property! Plenty of Beds!

We loved this cabin as a whole! The teenagers enjoyed the pool table, everyone enjoyed the hot tub, and the mini kids’ cabin was a huge hit! The master bedroom upstairs is very spacious! The pictures do not lie. 4 king Beds were comfortable! The little kids loved the bunk beds and slept well! Even the downstairs couch was able to be put together to make a very large bed! Everything was nice and clean! We did not use or pull out the pull out couch. There were extra pillows and blankets as well! We took advantage of the outside mini golf course and really enjoyed that option! There is also an indoor pool directly across from the mini golf course that we did not use, but we might have if we would have had more time. The outside pool and waterfall look like they would be beautiful in the summer time! Downsides…the floors can be loud. It’s not hard to hear if someone is awake if you are sleeping in the main or bottom floors. There was a slight problem with the WiFi password, but that was quickly cleared up by the management staff. The tv in the kids cabin did not work, but we didn’t take much time investigating why, nor did we ask for help in that department. The kitchen could be slightly more well equipped. There was only one spatula and not enough silverware unless we rewashed before every meal. The cabin is not as secluded as it seemed in the pictures. We had close neighbors…there are several cabins in this gated community. Overall very minor issues. We were about 12 minutes from the LeConte convention center as long as it wasn’t Saturday afternoon traffic; It took us a bit longer during that time.

Christmas Vacation

The cabin was well furnished, except the tv in the den, someone had put a parental code on the channel that was showing Christmas movies! The cabin was beautiful, and the little ones loved the little cabin inside! Great stay!

Playhouse Cinema Review

Was great overall other than fireplace would not work and could not connect to wifi. Maintenance came out and looked at fireplace and stated that parts would need to be ordered from vendor but would take a week. Wifi would not connect to computers or cell phones maintenance stated it was because of cloud cover. Could watch TV that was connected to internet though?

Fun Famaily Vaca

We had a wonderful stay in this Beautiful Cabin. However the own needs to update the cookware. We was all able to fit comfortable and everyone was able to have their own space. We will stay again. Over all very nice Cabin!

Weekend getaway

Had a great time!! It’s a great chalet!! Very comfortable!!A few suggestions; Would suggest fixing igniter on grill before someone burns them selves!! recommend non brillo pads for cleaning as ALL non stick pans are scratched and need to be thrown away. would be a nice touch to have a few plastic/tupperware type dishes to store food while there.
