FAMILY FRIENDLY, GREAT LOCATION!

On the first floor you will find comfort in the living room with an adjacent porch, dining area that will seat 10 including the barstools, a fully equiped kitchen, laundry facility, one bedroom with queen bed and one full bathroom. From this floor you will exit the back door and you are just steps away from the neighborhood pool with lots of decking and a covered area for picnicking. The second floor is where the master bedroom and ensuite bathroom with private 2nd floor porch is located. Also you will find another full bathroom located adjacent to 2 other bedrooms with double bed in one and twin/full bunk beds in the other. Go up the next flight of stairs to the 3rd floor tower room where you or the children can relax and enjoy 2 large comfy chairs and a wet bar including a small refrigerator. All bedrooms and tower room are equiped with flatscreen televisions. This cottage is an excellent place to spend your vacation and have access to all local attractions a short walk or drive away with comfort and convenience.

As stated in other posts, the pictures aren't great, but the actual property is amazing. There is new furniture as well so the "outdated" look has been updated. The short walk to the beach beats most other places we have stayed on 30A. One downside is the access at the beach, there is a private beach next to it as well as a chair rental company that dictate where you can set up. Other than that, it was perfect. The pool was a hit for the kids. They went every day for a little refresher. All the restaurants and ice cream within walking distance is amazing too. We would definitely stay here again.

great stay

The condo was in a fantastic location and was much nicer in person compared to what the pictures showed. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were fantastic. If I had one negative, it would be that the living furniture was a little dirty and old. But overall, we would stay in this location again.

Great experience

The property and location was fabulous. We walked to different ice cream places each day. The house was clean and well appointed. The beds were all comfortable so we slept well. The owner was most pleasant to work with.

Perfect location

The neighborhood was so cute and the walk to the beach was not far at all. We loved how close we were to walk to Goatfeathers and even Gulf Place was walkable. Icecream was also super close by. House was cute and well stocked with simple necessities. Public beach was a tad crowded, but we put out our chairs one morning without issue and then the rest of the week we rented chairs and umbrella set ups from BeMe30a, which was worth every penny. We'd definitely stay here again! The location was great!!

Wonderful vacation, best spot in Santa Rosa!

This is our second year staying in this neighborhood in Santa Rosa and we absolutely love it. Cheryl was fantastic, very accommodating and super friendly. Her home was spotless and the pictures listed do not do it justice! We would love to be back and have requested to book again next year already! Fantastic property! Thank you for having us!

Great house

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean. The location is great. Easy .3 mile walk to the beach. We had more than enough room for our group. The community pool right out the back door is nice. There were beach chairs and towels provided, which was very nice. Thank you for sharing your home w/ us.

Great location

Property was as advertised. When we arrived the housecleaning was not done, but owner immediately responded and maid came out to clean house. It was an honest mix up, but promptly addressed. Location is wonderful with a short walk to the beach and it includes 4 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas.

Second year in a row & we couldn’t love it more!

We absolutely love this home. It’s perfect for us! We have four kids and there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and get a good nights rest. Home is very clean, close to the beach, steps to the pool and overall just the best location. We have family gets houses around the circle and it’s as if we’re all staying together but have our own space. Couldn’t recommend enough. Beaches are BEAUTIFUL. The home also has a nice beach wagon, umbrella and chairs which was especially helpful for us with the little room we had left in the car! Will be back next year, thank you!!

Great stay!

We stayed at this house as 3 couples + 3 kids (2 infants and a toddler) and really enjoyed our stay. It was a short walk to the beach and the house included everything we needed for the beach - chairs, umbrella, a wagon (sooo helpful) and sand toys. The pool was right behind the house, which was a great option with the toddler, and everyone in the community was super friendly. We were also right around the corner from restaurants, ice cream, a coffee shop, etc. I found the house to be cuter and brighter in person than it was in the photos and the host was very quick to respond to inquiries. I would definitely recommend!

Perfect Getaway

Everything about this property was perfect. A few weeks before check-in Cheryl provided me with a list of great restaurants as well as various activities we could do while we stayed. The place was equipped with everything you could possibly need; from beach chairs, towels and the wagon (a huge help!) to the cookware and even the Tupperware, it was well stocked! It was the perfect location, my kids loved riding around the complex on their bikes and enjoyed the freedom of going up the street to grab donuts by themselves in the morning (they’re 8 and 11) and plenty of food choices that we could easily walk/bike to! Overall it was the perfect spot for our getaway and Cheryl was quick to respond to any questions and helped us have a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back!!!

Fine little place to call home for a week

Our family of five adults, a teenager and four kids fit perfectly into this home nestled in the middle of Santa Rosa Beach. The home was clean, well furnished and less than a five minute walk to some of the prettiest sugar white sand beaches. The furnished chairs and umbrellas gave us a great spot on the beach too. Thirty feet out the back door down a paver stone path and you were in the community pool. The only bad thing about our stay here was the fact that it had to end! No more hustle and bustle of Destin for us now. We are 30A fans!!

Great stay

During this pandemic time, I was looking for a property that was as private as possible. This community is located right behind Goatfeather's and it's like a private little oasis amidst the craziness of Santa Rosa. The pool was sufficiant, and they limited the number of occupants, it was never an issue for us. The check in process was great, the house had all the best amenities. The rooms were great, and there was even a small but efficient twin bed pull out on the third floor. The house is about an 8 minute walk to the beach, parking was crazy but not a problem because we didn't have a golf cart, and there is a private beach to the left of the public beach access, book chairs in advance with Chip at Beach Chairs 4 U. We walked to Local Catch and ate outside one night, and got fresh seafood from Goatfeathers market a few times, so easy. We would love to stay here again.

Nice House But Lacking The Little Stuff

We stayed at this house three nights to attend a wedding in the area. For the most part, we enjoyed the house. It was nice, close to the beautiful beach and in a nice neighborhood. There is a community pool right behind the house that had a nice "picnic area" for all the family members to meet. The beds were comfortable. The description does says "beach view" but there is no beach view even from the third floor. We have rented many houses in various vacation places. This was the first house that did not have some of the basics we expect. There were no paper towels, only two rolls of toilet paper for 5 adults and 3 bathrooms, no dishwasher detergent or dish detergent and only one kitchen trash bag. My sister rented a house just behind ours and they had all of these things and more. I do find it interesting that the owners do not provide beach towels too. Yes, it clearly states that they do not, but I have never rented a house that did not provide them. When you fly somewhere for vacation, beach towels take up a lot of room in a suitcase. We did run into an issue with beach chairs. In the "What we provide section" it says the owners provide 4 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas at the beach. When we went to the beach there were no chairs or umbrellas with the name of the house on them. We called the chair company, who in turn called the owner. The owner was annoyed because, apparently the contract says there are only beach chairs provided between Memorial Day and Labor Day. If this is the case, it should be clearly stated so in the "What we provide section" . Thankfully, the chair people were extremely nice and gave us two chairs and an umbrella at no charge. In any case, we feel beach chairs and umbrellas should be provided year round for a vacation house on the beach! They have always been available at every other house we have rented. Overall, it was a nice house to rent. It just lacked some of the basics.

Monkey Business

We had a wonderful time staying at Monkey Business last week! The house is in a great location to the beach and yummy restaurants close to the house. We would love to stay there again!

Great property and amazing area

We loved this place and will likely return. Plenty of room for two families, nice amenities, great area, short walk to the beach, easy access to the pool and grills. We had a wonderful stay!

Ideal Beach Rental

Stayed for a week and loved our time here. Location is ideal, short walk to beach, small market, restaurants, and shopping, most everything you need. The rental itself was great, great layout, clean, well stocked kitchen, beach chairs and floats. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Wonderful !

The house was in a perfect location. Great pool! Wifi (Mediacom) was sketchy at best. Owner was super. Could be cleaner. Beach chairs were available. We will be back!

Great location and house!

Our stay at Monkey Business was fabulous! It is in a great location with a 5 minute walk to the beach, with no roads to cross. There’s parking at the beach access if you don’t want to walk with beach gear. The house was very nice, exactly as described! The owner, Cheryl, is great! I had a question and was able to reach her by phone. We will definitely stay at Monkey Business again!

We bought our home pre-construction in this beautiful beachside neighborhood and have enjoyed it with our family for the past 10 years. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we have. We do live close by so addressing any requests that you have will be prompt and accommodating.

We chose this property because we have lived in the area for 20 years. My husband immigrated here from Ireland 40+ years ago and has never left the area. I was born and raised here and have always loved the beach and the many amenities this area offers.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We have especially enjoyed the neighborly feeling of the community. The fact that there is one entrance and designed in a circular fashion has allowed our family members and guests with children a safe area to ride bikes and go for walks. We often grill out by the pool while the children swim. A short walk to the beach allows us to set up for a day at the beach with bathrooms available at the beach access and just a short walk to the beach house if we need anything. We love to walk and the proximity to the paved walking/biking path provides a safe venue for exercise. Close proximity to restaurants and shops allows us the option to walk to shopping and meals.
