Post and beam construction ; brand new renovation of kitchen living and dining area allow an even more beautiful view over the city and the surrounding mountains. Monthly rentals starting October, perfect for Traveling health professionals. Fully furnished and equipped with just about everything you could need. Located in a very quiet and private neighbourhood. 3 bedrooms and a den, 2 bathrooms, large kitchen with an eating area, and a very large, open and bright living room with a gas fireplace and dining room. Hardwood floors throughout. A wall of windows in the living room and dining room let the beautiful Okanagan sunshine in. Large deck off the living room looks over the private pool. Front yard is also fenced and there is a very large driveway and double covered carport. Central location; easy access to all of Penticton's amenities, such as both Okanagan Lake and Skaha Lake beaches, Naramata Bench wineries, KVR, shopping, hiking, biking, skiing and rock climbing. Apex Mountain Resort is 30 minutes away. Owner lives on site the separate basement suite. Penticton is well known for its' wine industry, and the foodie scene is hot here too! Come for an active vacation ; enjoy all the beautiful locations for a never ending list of outdoor activities, all within a 30 minute drive from the front door, or just come to relax, enjoy the pool and the company of your family and friends in the famous Okanagan sunshine.

Great Hime for Families

Young family with infant, dog and grandparents stayed in Mid July. The accommodation was just wonderful. The kitchen had everything you needed, and we cooked almost every night. The yard is very dog friendly and is very nice with loads of flowers. The gold star of course is the pool. We used it a lot as we were there during a heatwave. The beaches 3 of them are all within 10-15 minute drive. The house is quiet, and Barb was a great host. We have already booked another dtay

Wonderful!

Our family of 5 adults spent 4 nights at the house. It was a perfect location for visiting the wineries and a short distance from the downtown area of Penticton. The house itself is amazing and we loved the large, private pool in the backyard. The beds are very comfortable and the neighbourhood is quiet so sleeping is not a problem. The owner, Barb, is very friendly and answered all of our questions promptly. We will definitely book another stay in the future.

Beautiful zen oasis

We loved our stay at this property which afforded room for all of our family of four. The pool was a welcome relief from the heat. There is a den on the bottom floor with attached bath (could have been used as a bedroom too); Three bedrooms on a top floor of a split level home. The main floor had an open concept living/kitchen and dining room It was beautifully decorated and calm. We will stay again if we are in town (we were here for a week for one of our kids to attend a hockey camp and it was a convenient 10 minute drive)

Just what we needed

Great location, central to everything in Penticon. Lovely property with beautiful renovations to the main living space. Timely communication with the owner. Pool was a plus as the weather was sunny and hot. We had a great time!

Fabulous house

We had a great stay. Was a fabulous house with everything you could need. A couple of the beds weren't too comfy but the rest of the house and pool made up for I.

Exactly What We Needed

This house was exactly what we needed. We had the whole front yard for our dog to roam, super comfortable bedrooms, an amazing layout with the open concept living room, dining room & newly renovated kitchen & of course the fantastic pool and beautifully landscaped pool deck. We’d stay here again! We were so comfortable & didn’t want to leave.

Extended my stay

This home was just great - good location, comfortable beds, nice views. When I needed to stay longer than expected (10 days instead of 3), I was happy to be able to extend my stay at this nice place rather than finding different accommodations. Barb was a great host and the home has all the supplies we needed.

Great rental property, great host

We spent 10 days at this property while visiting Penticton. The property is conveniently located. The house is very clean, comfortable and well appointed. It has nice views of the local mountains and sunsets. Barbara was a fantastic, supportive and kind host. We really appreciate her making this lovely home available to us.

Perfect Penticton

This place was perfect for us - two couples and one dog. (Easily sleeps 6). Barb was an amazing and gracious host. The house is well stocked, spacious, the pool is a dream on a hot day. Our dog Molly enjoyed playing in the fenced front yard. And loved that it had A/C. Great location to explore Penticton, Naramata, Summerland or head south to Okanagan Falls, Oliver and Osoyoos. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful stress-free vacation

This property met all our needs. The bedrooms, beds and linens were comfy. The living areas were spacious. They kitchen was beautifully renovated and well appointed. Barbara was a great host and was super helpful with setting up our stay and answering all our questions. The pool was very private and the perfect size for our group...our only small complaint was that it was a few degrees too cold for our little kids to stay in very long, but other than that it was a great stay. We hope to return again!

Amazing

Gorgeous house with a wonderful pool and great views. The home was clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Barbara was always available to assist with any questions or concerns we had. We had a great weekend stay and would recommend Barbara's house to anyone travelling to Penticton.

Perfect Home for a family or group

Beautiful, spacious, clean and welcoming home. We are sad we never did use the pool (we ran out of time). We enjoyed the house immensely. It was comfortable and we lacked for nothing. We would stay there again in the future. Thank you Barb and Mya.

Great house with everything you could need!

We had an amazing stay at the Crazy Quail. Barb was very helpful and the house is stocked with whatever you might need. The pool is well kept & clean as well with the house. We will definitely be back!

Awesome weekend getaway!

We enjoyed our weekend here! The owners are great and had the home set up perfectly for us. It was very clean and had everything necessary. Backyard pool was perfect. Very private! Will definitely return!!

Wonderful space, great location, fabulous pool! Had all the amenities - we just brought food!

Loved our time at the Crazy Quail - so many amazing things to do in Penticton and this was the perfect base for our family. Our 4 kids loved the pool! Everything was well-appointed, clean and comfortable. Barb was helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. A wonderful home away from home. We will definitely be back.

Enjoyable and relaxing

We had a wonderful stay. The place was very clean, and Barbara was pleasant to deal with. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the pool. I brought my dog, and the area out front where she could run around was convenient.

Wonder week in BC!

Barbara's home is beautiful, well appointed and spacious but with a very cozy feel. We were two families enjoying a holiday getaway and ski vacation. This was the perfect spot! The beds are super comfy, the home is decorated in a lovely and attractive way. The sectional in the living room is so very comfortable and perfect for curling up with a good book, to watch a movie or enjoy the beautiful views out the full wall of windows overlooking the snowy foothills. We all loved our long soaks in the clawfoot tub after a full day of skiing. We enjoyed making delicious meals in the well appointed kitchen for our crew of 8 people (7 adults and one child). Our pup loved her time in the snow and the fenced in front yard made it easy and safe to let her out. We made use of the washer and dryer during our week long stay--a great convenience! We highly recommend The Bench Market and Bad Tattoo Pizza place and the numerous micro breweries in the area. Apex ski area (20-30 min away) was a group favorite and all loved the expansive Big White resort (just under 2 hrs drive) for Skiing and Snowboarding as well. We'd love to return to this wonderful home for another Okanagan adventure (summer or winter)! Thank you Barbara!

For 12 years I owned and operated a boutique lodge at Apex Mountain Resort, just 30 minutes from here. I found I really missed the lifestyle, so went on the search for the perfect house to renovate and provide fantastic and comfortable vacations to families visiting this beautiful area. I am an avid traveler, and have just returned from an inspirational journey through Africa. I hope that you will enjoy this beautiful home as much as I.

I knew this was the one, immediately after stepping in the door the first time. The windows letting in all the natural light, the views, the hardwood floors, the high ceilings, post and beam construction. Then I found out it also had an in-ground super private pool, all located in a nice quiet family neighbourhood. I was hooked, and I hope you will fall in love with this home as I have.
