Exceptionally nice property, rooms were great and had everything we needed. The pool at the property was perfect for the kids and the property is steps from the beach.

Great stay all around, and the whole family agreed we'd come back. The beds were genuinely comfortable, and being able to rinse off in the shower after a long beach day was a highlight. The place is full of thoughtful hidden extras — an outdoor rack for drying towels and swim gear, a box of squirt guns and toys the kids loved, and a take-a-toy/leave-a-toy box that was a nice touch. The location was great too: close enough to walk to shops and places to eat, which made things easy.One friendly heads-up for future guests: there's new construction of two condos going up that currently blocks most of the ocean view shown in the listing photos. It didn't take away from our trip, but if the view is a priority for you, ask about it before booking.

Check in was easy, once we actually got the scheck in information. We did not get anything from the property so we had to reach out to them. That was annoying but ended up working out in the end.

When we arrived we were extremely disappointed. We were led to believe we had a front row beach view, when in fact our room was on the road with a sliver of a beach view. The traffic was extremely loud, construction was going on early in the morning (before 5 am) next door right out our window two huge beach homes were being built blocking the supposed advertised view. The cleaning crew was finishing up when we arrived, we let them know how sad we were, they had us check out the newly renovated space. It was new and clean so we decided to give it a go as we were ready to cancel. The pool was old and in need of updating, once we got to the beach it was beautiful. We are from the pacific northwest, we are not familiar with the gulf coast so we were leaning heavily on the description of the rental. Now we know the area, for sure we will NOT be renting here again. The location is good.

Room was clean. Pool was another story. You can help someone having an accident in the pool but they should be kept out 24 hours to make sure it’s passed. One of the reasons we booked this unit was for the beach view but when we got there they were building a condo in front of our view. We saw some units listed for sale. I guess that’s why. Still nice and convenient. Easy to get to the beach from the condo. Would not book again due to the lack of a nice view. We were really looking forward to sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view. Also the noise from the street was loud. We didn’t notice that last year when we stayed on the other side. People driving like they’re at the drag strip. No noticeable noise during the day. Just in the evening. Nothing too crazy but not so safe for the pedestrians headed to the hangout. Also the mattress could have been better. Too soft. Everyone puts a mattress pad on to cover up the cheap mattress. Just needs a better mattress for what you pay. And one of the bunk beds squeaked and creaked every time you moved. Might need tightening up.

We understand the disappointment about the view, the construction you saw is an adjacent building project, not something we have control over, but we know that doesn't make it less frustrating when the view was a big part of why you booked.
