We're so glad you enjoyed the house and made the most of the hot tub, sauna, theater, and indoor pool. It sounds like the neighborhood bears provided some memorable entertainment too! You definitely did the right thing by keeping those car doors locked—our Smoky Mountain bears can be surprisingly talented when they think there might be something interesting inside. We completely understand your preference for warmer pool water—some of us are right there with you! The resort's indoor pools are maintained at approximately 81°F, which is the established setting for these pools within the homes. Of course, the local perspective may be a little skewed; when you're accustomed to Smoky Mountain rivers and swimming holes, which can be considerably cooler even in summer, 81°F can feel toasty! We're sorry it wasn't quite as warm as you would have preferred. And please never worry about inconveniencing us. That's what we're here for, and we're always happy to answer questions or help with anything that comes up during a stay.
