Bathroom plumbing gurgling. Gfci in the front 2 bathrooms kept kicking off. No vacuum to vacuum the carpet. No mop to clean floors. Dryer did not work. No cooking pans. Refrigerator front had rust spots all over it. Faucet in front bathroom is loose. The biggest problems were the dryer , no pans for cocking and no vacuum. Had to eat out more than we had planned. The beds and pillows were great.

Completely unacceptable and nothing like advertised. No cooking utensils, filthy dishes, a badly burnt nonstick pan, broken dryer, and a filthy refrigerator. We traveled with children with special needs and food allergies, and this lack of basic cleanliness and usable kitchen equipment left our kids unable to eat properly after arriving late at night. We immediately contact the host promised the owner would respond by morning—NOTHING. No owner response and no resolution during our entire 2-day stay. received a dirty, poorly maintained property with basic amenities missing or unusable.

Overall this was a great quick trip to Myrtle Beach. We only stayed two nights. The property is in a good location. It is easy to get to other activities and dining. The room has a wonderful view. I was worried about potential noise from the pool. But, no issue at all. Also, the property has a curfew, which helps keep noise down. But, even during the day there was no issue. The Avista staff were very friendly and accomodating. The property itself was large and comfortable. It could use a thorough touchup/cleaning but not a deal breaker. For example, the outside of the air vent was dirty, refrigerator inside was clean but outside was dirty. Kitchen had some molding glue strip loose. There was a chicken wing in the sliding door the cleaning staff missed. Really, overall nothing terrible but an upkeep would make the review 5 star. Lastly, I had an issue with getting the initial payment verified with the host company. However, after the issue was resolved, communication with host company was excellent.
