Great house in a great location! We loved being able to walk to the park across the street, coffee, Trader Joe's, and local food spots. The open floor plan with big couches and a big table was perfect for our family, the AC worked great, and the washer and dryer were a lifesaver.A few things to know, especially if you're traveling with little ones: neither front door is stroller accessible, and it's street parking only. Parking was fine, but unloading groceries and kids was tricky. The dishwasher wasn't bolted down, the bathtub didn't hold a plug, and we only got 3 towels, so more bath and swim towels would've been nice. We were also sad we couldn't use the pizza oven, and the photos felt a little misleading overall.Still a really nice stay, and we'd recommend it for the location alone!

We asked about an early check-in and were told they could not accommodate because the property was being cleaned from the prior stay which is completely understandable. But when we arrived, the house was dirty with food smashed onto the back patio along with food wrappers which with half eaten food thrown on the ground which would be impossible to miss by the cleaning crew. The pool was very dirty and the welcome packet said the pool cleaning crew comes on Tuesday- they never showed so the pool was filthy our entire stay and made it basically unusable. The master bed had no fitted sheet so your basically laying on the stained mattress which is disgusting! Was overpriced for what you get from this place. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere.

Spectacular Stay

The property exceeded all expectations. It is beautiful, spacious, and spotless. The pool was a great addition. It is located in a perfect spot to walk to eat, drink, and beach without being in the middle of it. Highly recommend!!

Relaxing Getaway

The house was as portrayed in the listing and photos. The beds were comfortable with great soft sheets. There were plenty of towels in the bathrooms and plenty of toilet paper. The kitchen had modern appliances and loads of dishes, glassware and cookware. Wifi was great. No problem with 6 people using their devices at once. San Diego vacation rentals were great to work with. We were able to get in the house a little early the first day. Whenever we called them about something we needed they took care of it right away. The neighborhood was a quiet residential neighborhood a quick walk to the ocean, restaurants and shops. There was a community recreation center across the street that our 10 year old grandson enjoyed during our stay.

Beautiful but not clean

Floors dirty, shower so clogged with hair it couldn't drain, one bed had girls hair and eyelashes in it. Not enough towels (only allowed one per person for four days). Mgr responded right away by delivering new sheets , towels and shower curtain but I didn't want to spend little time I had with family doing laundry and changing sheets and shower curtain.

This place might be ok if you know what you’re getting. The newer looking two story prominently light up in the main photo? You’re not getting that. You’re getting the older one story on the right. The pool picture doesn’t show the pool vacuum and sign that says removing it will damage the pump. So they expect the guests to swim with that in the pool. Safe? If you’re counting on the mentioned driveway parking so not to have to street park be aware the driveway is all of 9-10 feet and then you’re blocking the sidewalk. Our minivan extended past the sidewalk and almost into the street. Blocking the sidewalk legal in San Diego?

Great for our family

We enjoyed our stay here. House and pictures are as advertised. Everything in the kitchen worked fine and is very well stocked. Only small downsides: The second bathroom that two bedrooms share is very small and had only 1 small hand towel for our entire stay. They really need to supply more towels. We called and they did bring more bath towels. The pool heater initially did not work, but they did get it fixed and we got to use it the last day. Initially the pool was pretty dirty but the pool cleaning guy comes once a week apparently. The Master bedroom, bathroom and closet are very spacious. The others very small. So good for a family but not for shared couples I would say. The detached apartment is very cute. We did not have a problem finding street parking close to the house. WiFi worked great and is super fast. The back outdoor space by the pool is really enjoyable.
