Weddings & Relaxation, reserve this Main House ( sleeps 4) in the Historic Village of Yellow Springs. Walk paths and explore buildings frequented by George Washington and later used for mineral baths and as a summer campus for the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts. Dine in local 5 star restaurants and bistros before visiting nearby Anselma Grist Mill or world-famous Longwood Gardens. These are but a few of the nationally renowned local sites. Virtually all things of man or nature can be had within a one hour drive of this 1720’s village.

Nice and spacious, exactly what we wanted by being in a more wooded area. Driving at night could be a little intimidating, but overall a great property in a great area.

This place was absolutely lovely!! We loved the beautiful and adorable house as well as the whole street and cute nearby trail (entrance by the stairs near the library).

House was very well stocked for a long-term stay. A good size for a couple or a small family. The property and surrounding environment were very serene. Perfect for a morning coffee or evening beverage on the patio. The host was very attentive to our needs over the course of the 4 week stay. Neighbors were friendly too! The little village of Yellow Springs had lots of history and a very interesting arts vibe. Overall, a great stay.

Beautiful place to stay

What a wonderful place to stay. The little village was beautiful and the homes just have a homey feeling! Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay! The house was inviting and clean, and the location beautiful. This is the second time we/family have stayed here and we couldn't recommend it more!

Lovely home with rustic elegance. Fully stocked with coffee, tea, water, towels, etc. would definitely come again. Clean, well appointed and quiet. Love this!!

Holiday stay

We think of the yellow springs house as our home away from home. We use it as a base to visit family and it was wonderful to return again this year. We love the location and the property and Chris/Alyssa are great hosts.

Pleasant short stay

The house said everything you could possibly need while you stay there. It is in a beautiful neighborhood very quiet. We really enjoyed our weekend there and it’s nice because you can bring your dog.

The house is beautiful and so is the town. The architecture and landscapes were really charming. Seemed to be a bit of french influence in the town.

You feel like you're out in nature, and the sounds at night are amazing. The little village has a super interesting history and enjoyable walking trail.

Adventure in Chester Springs

Absolutely awesome house for a getaway .. quaint, quiet, vintage. The property was gorgeous as well. Close to city comforts but still felt in the country. Would highly recommend.

Family wedding stay

This property was perfect for my nephew’s wedding at the Washington. Everyone was jealous we were able to walk to and from the event! The house was cozy and comfortable. Fortunate we were able to stay in a rural Pennsylvania neighborhood for our first stay to the state.

Staying here was a real treat! A great place especially for those seeking a blend of weddings and relaxation. We were in town for my sister's wedding and were so happy with the charm of this rental. Also, Chris was very responsive and accommodating to our two dogs! The rich history of the place made every stroll along the paths feel like a journey through time, especially knowing that George Washington once frequented the area. Being close to top-notch restaurants and bistros meant every meal was a delight. There was never a shortage of things to do. It truly was an unforgettable experience!

Relaxing & quaint

We loved our brief stay at the property. The house feels warm and cozy. It was perfect to come back to after a busy I have to Alexa to Costco list Costco list day with family. I love the historic community. And we went for a long walk on the local trail. The house was clean. We did not interact with the host as they had everything set up for easy access. Be ready to climb some stairs and the shower is quite quirky. But we’d definitely stay there again.
