We truly enjoyed our mini-vacation. The property is well maintained, beautiful decor and breath-taking views of the lake and sunset. Emily was a wonderful host and very helpful with any questions. We only wished that we could have stayed longer.

The home is exactly as pictured! The only thing to note is that the stairs are very narrow, making it difficult to carry a suitcase up or down. Thankfully, there are separate entrances to the downstairs, so it wasn’t an issue for us. The home was very clean, beautifully maintained, and adorably decorated. Overall, a lovely place to stay!

Great vacation! Took the kids here to get away during spring break. House is beautiful, views were amazing.

This group were wonderful guests and a pleasure to host. They were very communicative before and during their stay, which made everything smooth and easy to coordinate. They treated the property with great care, leaving it clean, tidy, and in excellent condition. We would happily welcome them back anytime and highly recommend them to other hosts!

This place sits on a double lot and feels super spacious—definitely one of the bigger spots in the area, with really beautiful sunset views. The outdoor space is great too: there’s a gas grill, a small fenced-in area for pets, three kayaks with life vests for getting out on the water, and the best egg chair for just hanging out and reading.Inside, it’s nicely done with thoughtful decor and all the comforts of home. There’s plenty of space between the upper and lower floors, and having a second kitchen downstairs is a big plus if you’re staying with extended family or a group.The golf cart is also a nice perk since it’s a bit of a trek (and pretty hilly) getting to the marina or clubhouse.We enjoyed our stay, even though it was brief! Between getting out on the water and having the zoo just a quick drive away, there was plenty to do for our long weekend stay.

It was a pleasure hosting this family. They were respectful of the property, followed house rules, and left the space clean and well cared for. Communication was smooth throughout their stay, making the entire experience easy and enjoyable. We would gladly host them again and highly recommend them to other hosts!

Sunset Escape is a beautifully decorated, well stocked, and cozy gathering place with peaceful views! The property is easy to find and access if you read the host's thoughtfully crafted instructions; but no worries, if you don't, Emily is super responsive. The spiral staircase between levels is tight and slippery, so use caution or be prepared to go the long way around. This gorgeous home sits on a well utilized lot with outdoor space for everyone in our party of 7 (aged 5 - 82). We brought our own wood/fire starters and thorougly enjoyed the fire pit and citronella candles! The dog run and grassy areas were free of pet waste. Beds and linen were comfy and clean. They have everything you need! Just bring your clothes, good food/drinks and be ready for a good time! This property is even more impressive in person! (Thanks again, Emily and family, for helping us celebrate GiGi's 82nd birthday together!)

We enjoyed our stay with 4 adults and 4 kids and would recommend this place to anyone! There was plenty of space in the home and a lot to do for all ages at the resort. The house was very clean and had a beautiful view of the lake just like the posting showed. The hosts were also readily available to assist us when needed before and during our stay. We would definitely come again!
