Hot tub broke after the first night which was unfortunate. There should be trash cans in all the bathrooms and for a house that holds 14 a garage fridge would have been great! However with all that we had a great stay. Beach access was easy, kitchen was stocked and it’s a very spacious house.

I appreciate your great communication. The same day you informed me that the control pad on the hot tub had stopped working during your stay, I contacted the pool service company to have them replace the control pad. At the beginning of the season, all bathrooms had a waste basket. My guess is that a prior guest moved a waste basket into a bedroom or elsewhere. We do our best to keep the house well stocked. Thanks for your input regarding the desire to have a garage fridge. I have one myself at home! Sadly, a refrigerator in the garage exposed to salt air would not last long.

Great beach house

We loved our stay at POM Breeze, great access to the beach and a well stocked kitchen. Dean was incredibly responsive and communicative both before and during our stay.

Great House!

We really enjoyed POM Breeze. Great location to beach access. House was beautiful with plenty of rooms for 5 adults and 4 teens. Loved the pool and hot tub!

A Terrific Vacation Home

Perfect place for multi-generational families. Lots of space, incredibly clean, well-stocked kitchen, serene views, and beach access directly across the street. Everyone had a lovely time and we all agreed the house was great. We fell in love with Holden Beach and will definitely be back.

Best vacation!

This property was amazing, it had the convenience of the beach across the street and a pool for when you want to chill at the house. Kitchen was equipped to the max. The house is lovely! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This is a lovely home with plenty of room for couples or families with children. Most of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms which is a game changer. The recently updated kitchen offers Bosch and Kitchen Aid appliances along with plenty of bar and table seating. The home offers a partial front ocean view but the best view is out back in the marsh. We saw Egrets, Cranes, diving ducks, a doe and her fawn! Watching the changing tides back there is serene and peaceful. There are several decks in the back and front of the home with lots of seating. The plunge pool and adjacent hot tub were perfect for after beach dunks for the kids, and peaceful relaxation for adults in the evenings.Our host was incredibly responsive and offered helpful suggestions. I would stay at this property again.

Family vacation

Pom Breeze is a wonderful house. Short walk to the beach. The kitchen is very well equipped for family meals. We like that four of the bedrooms have adjoining bathrooms. Having the pool & hot tub is a plus too. Enjoyed playing games, going to the beach & seeing turtle hatch.

Family beach vacation 2025

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay with quick beach access. The in ground pool was smaller than expected, however the smaller children enjoyed the water and the experience. It was pleasant to find pool "toys" on site. Traveling with family for week's vacation with ALL the necessities plus beach and pool equipment is very challenging Thanks for use of your property for our memorable family beach vacation.

Weeklong Beach Visit

The beach house is laid out very well, with two living spaces and 5 sizeable bedrooms. Also had 5.5 baths. Kitchen was well-stocked with pots/pans/dishes/glassware/etc. Beach access directly across the street from the house.

Excellent Getaway

Rented this place to celebrate parents/grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. Good location with nice views and easy access to the beach access. Only real complaint is the master bathroom shower. It was an amazing shower, large with 2 shower heads, but not very clean.

Wonderful visit to Pom Breeze

We visited Holden Beach in July with our stay at Pom Breeze. The home was just as advertised. The rooms and space were great. The location with beach access directly across the street made it easy to go back and forth. Having the pool was a great addition. With an unexpected A/C issue, the owner was extremely responsive, and the resolution was quick. I would highly recommend this rental.

Great location & amenities

The location is great, right across from beach access. The home was clean, but dirty sheets in bags from previous renters left there during the week. Missing TV remotes and no recycling bin, but otherwise no issues with the home. Quick responses from the owner for questions. Kitchen is well-stocked and pool/hot tub clean. Thank you!

Second time around

We stayed at this property in 2021 and loved it. That is why we booked it a second time. It was as wonderful as the first time. Great location, wonderful views of the beach and marsh, and great floor plan. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Everything in the kitchen you could need. Elevator was very helpful. Owner is wonderful to work with.

Great place!

The location is awesome with direct beach access across the street, nice views from decks, salt marsh in the rear. Well furnished, well equipped kitchen, clean, roomy house. Very, very nice. Hot tub and pool are a nice bonus. Nothing but good things to say about this property. Everyone in the family enjoyed their time there and commented about how nice it was and the beautiful views and location. Plenty of parking for multiple vehicles. Highly recommend. Owner is great, readily available to communicate and answer questions.

Amazing House!

We loved staying here at POM Breeze! It was clean, well stocked, had great views, and just steps to the beach! So relaxing, and just what we were wanting for this trip! All of our questions were answered within minutes (literally!) of sending the message, and the small issues were fixed right then! (Troubleshooting the fans and the a/c) The owner is extremely attentive and it’s obvious he wants you to enjoy your stay as much as you want to enjoy it!! Saving this one in our Favorites in case we are ever back in the area again! Highly recommend this beach house!

Beautiful location but house had cockroaches.

Convenient to beach, and the view was beautiful. However, there were dead cockroaches in four of the rooms and the coffee pot. There was also a live cockroach in one of the rooms. Also, although the house is beautiful, it was not well cleaned prior to our stay. For a vacation home of such a price, I would expect much more in the way of cleanliness. We made the best of our stay, and did manage to have a nice time.

Unfortunately, it rained almost every day during the week this renter had the property. The house was thoroughly cleaned prior to check-in. A review of the Smart Home Security log showed that the renter left exterior doors open for extended periods of time during their stay, allowing a few bugs to enter the home. Renter did provide photos, which were date stamped 3 and 4 days after arrival. It is unfair to hold the cleaning company accountable when the renter leaves exterior doors open, inviting a few bugs into the home and out of the rain.

Perfect Family Getaway!

From check-in to check-out and all of the awesomeness in between, this rental was amazing! The owner was very responsive and extremely helpful along the way. We visited Holden Beach with a group of 4 families and this property met all of our needs. Being close to the beach was important since we didn’t want to walk far with young children and all of our beach gear in tow. With the private beach access across from the driveway it made our beach trips a breeze. The elevator came in handy when unloading and loading our luggage, groceries and lazy children. The layout was convenient and offered privacy and almost all of the rooms had their own private bathroom! We were excited to find games such as UNO, Banagrams, etc. to keep the adults entertained in the evenings. I would also like to point out that the kitchen had everything we needed for us to cook dinner each night that we were there. The kids loved the hot tub and everyone enjoyed the beautiful sunsets over the marsh! This place has too many great things to fit into this review but trust me when I say you won’t be disappointed if you stay here :)

We had a great Labor Day weekend with the family at this amazing house. We have been going to Oak Island or Hold en Beach for several years now and this is our favorite house. The grandkids loved the pool - it is small but was a bonus. We all enjoyed the hot tub. The house is directly across from beach access. And a shower in the pool area made it easy to rinse off after a day at the beach or before getting into the pool and hot tub. And the back views over the marsh/inlet were beautiful. We enjoyed sunsets out the back. Two nights we were treated to an amazing lightening show, over the ocean and over the marsh. The kitchen is one of the best stocked kitchens we have encountered. And there was a pantry for our use. Many homes have nowhere for guests to put their food so we found this a big plus. The top floor with the kitchen, dining room table and living room is spacious. Plenty of room for us all to eat together and lots of room to hang out and play games in the evening. We loved having the elevator to move in and out. It made life much easier as we didn't have to cart the coolers, kitchen supplies and suitcases, up two flights of stairs. The rooms are spacious and we loved all the bathrooms, especially the en-suite ones. We all voted for coming back to this amazing home next year. Dean was always quick to communicate with us.

Beautiful home, excellent location. We enjoyed watching the birds in the marsh out back and the ocean waves from the front porch. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. The kids lived the pool!!

Glad you enjoyed POM Breeze and Holden Beach! Agreed, the views of the ocean in front and the march in back are fabulous! I have seen whale and dolphins in the ocean. In the marsh, it is common to see egrets, blue herons, deer and other wild life. The refrigerator was recently replaced and new granite stone cooking pans added to the kitchen. FYI, POM Breeze is available to book 12 months in advance.
