Welcome to Kapilana: Lakeshore Lookout, a beautifully furnished 2-bedroom, 2-bath lakefront condo located directly on the water within the Kapilana Resort complex brought to you by JALStays. Designed for comfort and relaxation, this spacious retreat features stunning lake views, a large covered patio, and easy access to resort amenities including a community pool and optional discounted boat rental.

The highlight of this condo is the expansive covered patio—perfect for lounging, dining, or simply enjoying the sounds of the lake. It’s an ideal space to unwind after a day on the water or relaxing poolside.

Inside, the open-concept layout offers plenty of room to spread out. The large primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, Smart TV, and a private en-suite bathroom—perfect for winding down after lake adventures. The second bedroom includes a queen bed with an additional bunk bed option, lake views, and a generous closet, making it ideal for families or groups.

The living room features a comfortable seating area and a 55" Smart TV, and the unit includes an in-unit washer and dryer for added convenience. Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, this lakeside condo offers space, comfort, and unbeatable views.

This was a great unit. Right by the pool and beach. Had all the necessities to cook and plenty of space for the family to stretch out and relax for the week

Bed was comfortable and the premises were quiet. The kitchen was very well equipped and easy to navigate. Only two steps up into the door which was helpful for us old folks. The patio overlooking the lake was exceptional. Would stay again.

Upon arrival the inside of the property smelled of spoiled milk. Our host Joe, was quick to address. I have to give him that. The floors had to be redone. There were dishes in the dishwasher and the couches were dirty. Housekeeping addressed after we checked in. The overall property is in dis-repair with sagging and rotten retaining walls, shallow parking spots, and compromised sea walls. We tried cooking steaks on night one but no grilling utensils and the pits are in bad shape. Location is good and the beds comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay and found the condo met our needs nicely. The host, Joe, was very responsive and helpful with direct messages. However, some of the general information messages were not very clear/accurate due to being generalized for all of the condos at the resort that are owned by the host. We had trouble at check-in, because the location description in the general message did not match the actual location of the condo in the building we were staying. The electronic door lock also wasn't working when we arrived. However, Joe answered the phone and was able to immediately provide us the information and assistance we needed. This is an older resort, but the condo we stayed in had been recently and very nicely updated. The kitchen has a good selection of dinnerware, cookware, and utensils but does not have basic pantry staples. My only real complaint is that the patio furniture is uncomfortable due to the cushions not being the right ones or the furniture. We also rented a boat from Joe for two days of our trip, and that was great! All-in-all it was a great vacation in a lovely condo with a very responsive host.

This was a great place to stay! We will likely rent this unit again in the future! The host was so responsive anytime we had a question. The view of the lake was just beautiful and even though we didn’t end up using the kayaks it was great to know they were available if we wanted to use them!

It was a great spot and close to all of the hot spots to hang out at. Clean and quiet condo setting. The beach area was not very clean. Had a bunch of debris washing up. Lots of sticks and foliage. It was clean the next day. The pool was having some trouble while we were there. Not the VRBO owners fault but something to note. Full time tenants of adjacent condos were discussing the condition of the pool so it was not a common or permanent issue. Very friendly people who were there as full time residents.

We had an amazing time and a wonderful stay! The condo was cozy, clean, well stocked and great for the price. The views are stunning and the pool was very nice. Parking is close to the unit as well.
