Close to Disney and the best part is that you can WALK TO EVERYTHING!!! The house is located in a historic residential neighborhood surrounded by cute homes like this one that are registered as Historic homes by the city of Anaheim. It is within walking distance to the fun and lively downtown Anaheim area near City Hall with tons of things for families and hipsters to explore. The downtown area includes the Center Street Promenade near Museo Museum and the Packing District which features the Packard Building and the newly-opened and all-the-rage-of-OC Packing House. Don't miss this! All of these places are loaded with restaurants, shopping, ice cream parlors, juice bars, and an ice-skating rink. Lots of places for families to hang out. Take a selfie as you sit outside of the Packing House while dining on the train. This is the new cool spot in OC and you can easily walk to not only all of this, but a grocery store, Starbucks, and 2 farmers markets.

I am really excited to present this listing. This is an original, well-preserved, 100+ year-old historic California Bungalow, but with all the modern amenities. Your opportunity to not only visit Southern California, but a way to live and breath a classic SoCal type of architecture which has been reproduced throughout the world. The location is perfect. As mentioned above you can walk to everything. Also, you are a short 2.5 mile ride to Disneyland, Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim Stadium, and the Honda Center. It is in the heart of the downtown, the Anaheim Colony Historic District, and 3 miles close to major freeways: 5, 22, 57, 91. The house is newly remodeled. Included are top-end super-capacity washer and dryer. There is a patio area with seating for 8. You can seat 9 people around the dining room table. Perfect for 1 large or 2 small families. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The location was easy to find and access. I will say it faces a busy street so we heard a lot of sirens from fire trucks and police but it didn't bother anyone's sleep. The game room was fun to unwind in and we walked to the packing house easily. Every so often we caught the fireworks show from Disney so it was a really neat place to stay. I would definitely stay here again and tell my friends as well. The host was responsive when I messaged and left a detailed binder of rules and helpful info so I didn't need to ask any questions. Check out process was easier than many of the other places I've stayed and i appreciated that very much.

Very beautiful home! spacious and has lots to do for the kids! Had everything we needed and more. 100% would stay here again and highly recommend!! Super good area and has a park right next door. I also loved the garage access!

Great family house!

Great place for a family or 2 to stay! Close to everything. On a corner of a busy road, so there is lots of street noise. Close to 2 playgrounds for the kids, disneyland, shopping, and even beaches! Would book again!

Excellent place to stay to enjoy Anaheim

The house was lovely, very large and clean for us when we arrived. There is ample parking outside or you can use the back yard if you prefer. The location is excellent only a short drive to Disney and there are many shops and restaurants including the packing district within easy walking distance.

Home was clean had everything you need. Kids room is adorable. 6 min lyft to Disney $12 :) lots of room for a family of 6.

Perfect home away from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We’ll DEFINITELY book this home again. The fire station is right around the corner. The noise from the engines didn’t bother us, but a little FYI.

The property was perfect for our needs. We had two families with 3 kids total. They loved the playground/park across the street. The street noise is real, but there are fans in each closet to help drown it out. Beds are very comfortable. It was so nice to be able to park in the garage. 9 Uber ride to Disneyland. Great place to stay!

Disney trip

This home was comfortable and clean and only 7 minutes from Disneyland! It was also close to shopping for anything we needed. The owner was prompt to reply to any questions I had. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Family Disneyland stay

Great place to stay for kids. Loved the garage access with 5 little ones. The park across the way was nice. Had everything we didnt even know we needed. Street was busy with noise till about 930 to 10pm but was alway brief.

Great property

The only thing that I would change is the entry getting in and it could use a mirror in each bedroom so when bath is in use others could still have a opportunity to get ready!

Charming house with fabulous location

This house was perfect for our family of five! There was lots of space to cook meals, relax, and play games when we were there. When we were tired after a day at Disneyland, it was super convenient to be just a few minutes away. Everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the short walk to the Packing District for meals and as well as grocery stores close by. We hope to stay there again sometime!

great home base in a nice neighborhood

Our family of 7 stayed 5 nights in this home comfortably. We loved the historic neighborhood and would love to know more history about this home in particular!The park across the street is nice.Home is close to the freeway for getting to and from your adventures!Theres PLENTY of food options for eating out and a VONS grocery store near buy!If you're a highly sensitive sleeper bring ear plugs. I did and I didn't hear any of the street noise or emergency vehicles from the nearby fire station. We would stay here again!

Great place for our family of 5

This was a great home base for us as we spent time exploring what the area has to offer. Groceries are super close (sign up for a Vons card from your phone beforehand). Plenty of good restaurants - we enjoyed Panini Kabob Grill. Walking distance to many different places like the Packing House and Center Street. Central to various places like Disney, the beach, and even up to Hollywood. The place was great - plenty of space, all the kitchen stuff we needed, and very comfortable.

PERFECT

My family and I absolutely loved this home! Everything was perfect, rooms, kitchen even down to the huge washer and dryer in garage. We had 11 people and all were very comfortable. Thanks Robert for making us feel welcome, we will be back.

Comfortable and Clean

This historic house was just perfect for our stay in Anaheim. It was clean with lots of room for our group. The beds were comfy and amenities as described. Having a garage to park in was a huge bonus for us, as was the fully supplied kitchen. The front bedroom was a little noisy with street noise-you might want to bring earplugs or a noise machine if that bothers you, and the curtains do let in light!

The best I’ve ever stayed

The house, the coolest I’ve ever stayed at. Beds are super comfortable. The amount of spaces to sleep are super accommodating. The location was perfect. So many things to do (the coolest park across the street) and only a hop skip and jump from Disneyland and Knott’s berry farm. So many food choices everywhere. This is like the best house for a family vacation. It was also super clean. Smelt beautiful and clean inside. This was a 10/10 and it wasn’t crazy expensive. If you’re looking at this house and you have kids look no further. This is absolutely the place for you!

Disneyland Trip

This place was fantastic! Could not be happier with our choice to stay here for our Disneyland trip! The home is a beautiful historic home, on a very cute street with a beautiful park right across the street. We did two days at Disneyland and it was a 10 minute car ride to the park, incredibly convenient. The house was very clean and cozy, as well as spacious. My favorite part was the Packing District that Robert the host recommended! We walked there the first night and it was amazing! Would love to go back just to spend time in this cute little Anaheim neighborhood!

Fabulous house to stay in. Just minutes from Disney. Can see the fireworks every night from the window. Everything is included. Extremely clean. Only complaint is the house is close to where emergency vehicles leave with sirens but that's no fault of the owner. Highly recommend. A+++++++.

Thank you Andrew for the review. Location is key! I just put the address on walkscore.com (a website that measures how walkable things are to a particular address) and it scored an 83, which equates to "Very Walkable - most errands can be accomplished on foot." And this is before they opened up the new Anaheim hot spot, the Packard Building, which contains a food court with several trendy restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream parlor, etc. This is just a few blocks away. You can still walk to Starbucks, the donut shop, Muzeo Museum, an ice skating rink, and the grocery store. I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay.

Best. Rental. EVER.

Even though this was a new listing, I'm glad I didn't let that prevent me from booking. This house is fantastic! Everything is just as described and pictured. Robert was very responsive and helpful as well. If you're traveling with kids, I'd highly recommend this house as it has several items just for them. The property was VERY clean and inviting and close to everything you might need. We were very sad to have to leave this place and hope to return again soon!

Thanks Kate. I'm glad that you and the kids enjoyed the house. My kids also love the house and my daughter wants to do a sleepover with her friends there (combined with a trip to Disney). Sounds like fun to me!

Nice but Noisy

Pros: well preserved historic home, lots of space, clean, leaving the Disney resort was a breeze as only a handful of cars went our direction. Cons: Very noisy especially when trying to get to sleep, the house sits on a busy street corner. Every rev of a car could be heard, while we were enjoying downtime in the living room TV volume had to be increased. Getting to sleep and staying asleep was tough, so if you are a light sleeper consider bringing a good noise machine or ear plugs. A good nights rest is a must after a long day at the park!

This property is 100+ years old and registered with the city of Anaheim as a Qualified Historic Structure and has been preserved as such. The city awarded the house a plaque proclaiming its historical significance which you can read on the entrance to the home. However, the entire house has been completely remodeled with new appliance, new electrical, and copper plumbing. This house is in the historic section of Anaheim and the neighborhood feels like a vibrant city and you can walk to restaurants, shops, Anaheim Ice skating rink (where the Anaheim Ducks practice and you can too! The building was designed by Frank Gehry so it's worth a look even if you don't skate), and Muzeo Museum within walking distance. The home is spacious with 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It comfortably sleeps 9 people so it is perfect for one large extended family or two small families. There is a private parking garage and an extra parking space. The back yard features a private patio space. 9 people can sit at the dining room table at one time. The house is within 3 miles to Disneyland, Angel Stadium, and the Honda Center. The house is situated within 3 miles of the major freeways: 5, 22, 57, and 91. This is the property to choose if you are coming from out of town and want the total So Cal experience. Why not stay in an original historic California Bungalow and feel and experience the wonderful city of Anaheim. The home is also an excellent choice if you are a local and you want a head start on getting to Disneyland and a close place to retire at the end of the night.

Anaheim features not only the obvious Disneyland, but it also hosts the Los Angeles/California Angels and the Anaheim Ducks. This is one of the few properties from which you can walk to the Packing House which is a very trendy place to hang out with many places to eat. It is very popular and hard to find parking. No problem. You can walk to it from the house. Anaheim, unlike any other city in So Cal, FEELS LIKE A REAL CITY!!!
