This family-friendly hideaway is five minutes from the beach! Originally built in 1964, The Lamplighter Inn is a classic roadside hideaway situated moments from the ocean on Highway 101. You’ll love the retro charm, modern updates, and sizable rooms.



Each room presents a unique, sea-themed interior with recent upgrades like new flooring and Serta Beautyrest mattresses. Kick back to watch favorite TV shows with Roku's for signing into your personal streaming services. Perfect for keeping beach snacks handy, the kitchenette includes a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.



Your peaceful setting is only three-quarters of a mile from Old Town Bandon, with ten square blocks of local shops and restaurants along the Coquille River. Bandon’s famous beaches are within a two-mile drive, and serene hiking trails can be found just minutes away.

Clean, comfortable, and close to town services and attractions! 7 minutes from the beach. Super comfy beds, nice hot water and a clean bathtub for that post-beach soak on a chilly Oregon night! Excellent for a couple of dancers after a weekend of dance camp for a lovely coastal getaway. Easy keypad check-in when reserved through VRBO.

Quick stay for a last minute golf trip to Bandon Dunes. 10 min from the resort, which was very convenient. Unit was as described online with easy check in/check out. Good experience.

This is our second time staying in one of these rooms! This one was perfect for me and my two teens. The rooms are very basic but updated with everything we need and have some cute beach-themed touches. Both times we have been very comfortable. The location is convenient to everything by a very short drive (not super walkable but it’s also not in the tsunami inundation zone either, which helps ME sleep sounder!). We’ll definitely be back again!

Room smelled off. It’s an older property that used to be a motel. I appreciated that the room was available early. The price is just a bit high for an old motel room.
