Perfect for what I needed! House was clean, location felt safe and host was exceptional. If I needed to go back to baker that is where I would stay!

The property itself was very unique, cute, and quaint, with a charming, old-fashioned cottage feel. I really appreciated its character and cozy atmosphere, which made it stand out from a typical rental. However, there were a few issues that negatively impacted my overall experience.First, the electricity went out on the very first night. While I understand this was likely beyond the homeowner’s control, it was a significant inconvenience, especially after arriving late in the evening. Unfortunately, I was unable to take a hot shower because there was no electricity to heat the water. I didn’t even get a credit Second, the listing advertised the property as a two-bedroom accommodation. However, only one bedroom had a bed, while the second bedroom was completely empty. This was disappointing and somewhat misleading, as I expected the property to have two functional bedrooms based on the description. Lastly, the check-in process could have been better organized. I was not provided with the Wi-Fi password upon arrival, which caused an unnecessary delay in getting connected and beginning my work.Overall, the property has a lot of charm and potential, and I genuinely enjoyed its unique cottage-style atmosphere. However, the issues with the accommodations, check-in communication, and the unexpected power outage took away from what could have been a much more enjoyable stay. With a few improvements and greater attention to detail, this could be a wonderful place to stay.

Thank you for your kind comments about the cottage’s charm and cozy atmosphere. I’m sorry the unexpected area-wide utility outage disrupted your first evening, including your ability to take a hot shower. Although the outage was beyond my control, I proactively notified you and shared the utility company’s restoration updates as they became available. For clarification, Wi-Fi access was available through a QR code displayed in a picture frame inside the property. When you requested the password directly, I provided it immediately. The accommodation offered one furnished bedroom with one bed; a second furnished bedroom was not advertised. I’m sorry there was a misunderstanding about the sleeping arrangements. Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us.
