Stayed for a couple of days in fall. Beautiful view, directly looking at the lake. The unit was clean and well located.

We really enjoyed our visit. The property was just as pretty as the pictures. The view from the living room and dining room onto the lake was great. The screened in porch was great and had great views of the property and the lake.

Great Place to Stay! VERY CLEAN and Beautiful area

Bathrooms and kitchen was spotless. Enjoyed the screen porch. Location can't be beat - beautiful views of lake. If we would go back we would stay in the same place.

The Lair

We stayed here for our daughters wedding that was held on the lawn here. The condo was so convenient for us and the wedding party. The view of the lake was so relaxing too.

Lovely Northwoods Setting

Was wonderful to have a view of beautiful Manitowish Lake and the gorgeous large pines. The Cabin interior also is very appealing.

Long Fall Weekend Getaway

This was a great place for a long fall weekend in the Northwoods. My husband, son and grandson fished all weekend and I hiked, did some great reading and enjoyed the fall colors - couldn't ask for anything better!

Lovely

Very comfortable and scenic property that is quiet and private. Kitchen utensils are basic, but adequate. We didn’t use the laundry, but it was sizeable and convenient. Overall, a great place for R & R!

Great family vacation

This place was just perfect for a family vacation. The property is very well kept and the grounds are very nice. Close to a place to dock your boat. You can ride to a nice sandy beach, ride the river chain or fish. Close to a great brewery and downtown Manitowish where they have lots of biking trails. Will definitely come again.

Beautiful place!

Very nice place and Beautiful views of the lake. The only issues we had were contacting someone about bringing our Kayaks and there are Washer/Dryer in the pictures but there was not either in the unit.

Nice condo in the northwoods

This is a nice property in a beautiful setting. The condo is comfortable, but needs some upgrading. We stayed at the same property 2 years ago and other than new carpeting, the furniture, etc has remained the same.

We’ll be back, the perfect location

Easy to book, the place was even nicer than the photos. Vacasa told me there wasn’t a washer and dryer but to our surprise, there was!! Clean, seemed like brand new towels and linens. The place was immaculate, the carpet seemed new too. The location couldn’t be any nicer, close to WinMan trails for mountain biking, lots of great restaurants including the Oak Grill right on the property. We had a guy from Northwoods EFoil come to our location to give us EFoil lessons right off the dock area, bald eagle flew over. Just wonderful. The kitchen is large, everything worked, comfy, TV and fireplace all nice. We will stay here again

Nice place but listing inaccurate

No washer and dryer, despite being listed as amenities, which was a significant problem as packing was done based on the expectation to do laundry.

Great Location

We really enjoyed the location and being able to be on the lake everyday for some great sunsets. There was no washer/dryer, though, and the kitchen did NOT have very many items to cook with. We ended up going out and buying a new frying pan and some food storage things. No good bowls to cook with, we ended up having to serve some of our dinners in the cake pans that were there since there were no bowls. We've stayed in many rentals in the past and one would think there would be a better stocked kitchen than what was available. Cleaning could be improved, found a few areas that seemed to not be cleaned well from the previous occupant. The lock on the door to get in and out was difficult to use and finicky. Also note, you are supposed to pay to use the pool on-site everyday, per person, so don't miss that. Fireplace also didn't work. I texted about it, but never received a quality answer on how to get it to work, so we never utilized it on the chilly nights.

We stayed for 5 nights in Lair, and I have to say, this is the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in!The condo has that perfect Up North vibe—charming, cozy, and very cute. The kitchen was stocked with the basics, including dishes, pans, a grill, and other essentials. The one thing I would have liked to see was a selection of basic spices.The living room was comfortable and cozy, and the main bedroom was spacious with its own bathroom. The second bedroom had two sets of bunk beds, which we didn’t use. There was also a utility room with a washer and dryer, which was a nice convenience. Parking was easy, and we really liked how centrally located the property was to everything we wanted to do.Overall, the property itself was beautiful, clean, and well maintained.A few things I would improve:The bed. This was, hands down, the hardest bed I have ever slept on! Add in the 2-inch-thick pillows, and it was an epic fail for me. We actually ended up purchasing Biofreeze and a heating pad just to survive the 5 nights.No fire pit. I love nothing more than relaxing around a fire with a cocktail and making a s’more. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a fire pit available for condo guests. There is a fireplace in the pool area, but it is not for condo guests to use. Another fail for me. The pool costs 10 a day. I was surprised that, as a guest staying at the property, there was an additional 10-per-day charge to use the pool.Overall: The condo was exceptionally clean, charming.
