Beautifully positioned at the meeting point of the Androscoggin River and Merrymeeting Bay, this sunny home in Bowdoinham enjoys views of the water and easy access to the beauties of Midcoast Maine.

This two-level, bay view home is located between the town of Bowdoinham and Baxter State Forest, close to Pleasant Point on the water and a few miles' drive from the many restaurants, shops, and conveniences in Topsham and Brunswick. As you enter, you'll be greeted by wood-paneled walls, a living room with a flatscreen cable TV to your left, and a dining room to your right. Towards the rear of the home is a fully appointed kitchen with every essential; it connects to an enclosed sun room with another dining table, a game table, and views of the bay in the distance.

In the evenings, you'll find one bedroom and one full bathroom on the main floor and two bedrooms and one more full bathroom upstairs. Additional amenities include a private washer/dryer and free WiFi throughout the house.

Cozy home with beautiful views

Group of 5 fit comfortably throughout our stay and had a lovely visit. Easy to access, great views, and plenty of casual space indoors.

Great stay

Fit 6 of us very comfortably. Seating for everyone, which is hard to find. Great location, quiet but close to downtown. We would stay here again

Downeast Tranquility

This home is close to lots to do but also has a very peaceful back sunroom and back yard that overlooks Merrymeeting Bay. Will definitely be back!

Nice place

We choose this place for the location and it did not disappoint. The scenery is beautiful plus its in the middle of a lot to see so if you are going down to Portland or up to bar harbor your in a nice spot to drive either way.

Comfortable home with lovely water view

This home had everything we needed for our visit with our 4 adult children. The sunroom was great for eating breakfast and looking out on the water. Less than 15 minutes to to Brunswick with lots of restaurants

The view of the bay is lovely.

The house was very nice. It has a great view of the bay. It is just minutes from Brunswick and Bath. We saw ducks, geese, and wild turkeys during our stay.

The property is well located just minutes from Brunswick and Bath, Maine. The view of the bay was delightful. We saw varied wildlife to include ducks, geese, wild turkeys, and deer.

Beautiful and Close to Downtown Brunswick

A great home with a beautiful view of the river. Was memorized by the lightning bugs at night. Will certainly remember this spot if I'm in the area again.

Very vacation rental for 2 families

My family enjoyed staying here. The well stocked kitchen and large amount of sleeping/eating space made this rental perfect for two families staying together. Removed one star for lack of AC. Maine is only hot enough for AC a few weeks a year, but window units would really help out.

Great view

Beautiful view of the bay and nature. Lovely sitting outside or on the porch. Basic house. Only problem was hot water system--all showers were either scalding hot or cold, couldn't calibrate any of them.

Roomy/busy street/needs good cleanig

We had ants in kitchen and bedroom, dishes were dirty, does have a lot of room. They provide quite a bit of sample items such as ( shampoo, soap, dish detergent, laundry soap etc) The view from the porch is beautiful however you can’t enjoy it outdoors in the chairs under the shade trees because of the brown tailed moths. Needless to say we ended up leaving a day early

We deeply apologize for the pest issues you experienced during your stay and appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. Our homes are treated quarterly for pests, and our property manager has assured us that they are taking preventative measures to combat the entrance of unwanted critters. Regrettably, with the home's rainforest location, as well as the climate of the island, pests are not uncommon. We hope to have the opportunity to host you for another great stay in the future.
