Beautiful property! Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped, beds & linens were comfortable. Loved waking up to the sound of loons calling. Easy check in/out and great communication. Only left off one star because it was described as lakeside in the listing title, but you couldn't really see the lake from the cabin--only a glimpse through the trees. There is a beautiful easy path to it. It's just that we were looking for something right on the lake. We still enjoyed it, and had a relaxing time.

Melissa thank you for your feedback and we are happy to hear that Birch Overlook was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. I also love to hear the loons calling in the morning on Maine lakes and can appreciate your enjoying that wake up call. We are sorry the home was not directly on the lake as you had hoped. We have several homes in the Moosehead area and next time call one of our Tides to Pines lines and agents and we will get you lakeside.

Great place

The cabin was clean, comfortable, and in a great spot - 15 minutes from town (Greenville) and right at the pond with private dock.

Wonderful stay!

This was our second stay at Birch Overlook this year. The cabin is spotless and had everything we needed for a full holiday meal. Greenville is a great place to visit and this cabin is the place to stay!

Excellent weekend getaway spot

The home was extremely clean and well taken care of. The firepit was lovely, the walk down to the pond was easy, and the beds were super comfy! Kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed for the weekend! Would definitely come back!

Weekend Getaway

Was just what we needed for a weekend retreat with friends. The area was absolutely beautiful and the cabin was so cozy and more than accommodating. Will definitely stay again when we make another trip to the area.

Privacy, privacy, privacy in a wonderful setting to reclaim some time from hectic life.

Nice cabin in a great location. The beautiful setting allowed my family to unwind and reconnect. We would definitely stay at Birch Overlook again.

Gorgeous retreat!

My fiancé and I wanted to do an easy staycation near home and this couldn’t have been better! Communication and checkin was incredibly simple. We enjoyed the private dock and pond access, listening to the loons at night! We can’t wait to come back for another trip!

We had a wonderful week staying in the Birch Overlook cabin. Beautiful location on Prong Pond. The cabin is immaculate and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

Loved our stay

Such a quiet and perfect place to get away, even if it's just for a couple nights. Everything you need, for a reasonable price! Being able to walk to the pond is magnificent. Looking forward to making our getaway a new tradition!

Quality cabin in quiet setting

Very clean, quality-built cabin in a very quiet setting. We made use of the kayak available (also a canoe) from the cabin's private dock. Everything as described. We enjoyed our stay!
