Our stay was overall pretty good. There was no A/C and we were unable to lock the door. Many of the pictures on the website were from other properties so that was disappointing but we were close to Long Pond.

This place was in an excellent location and had everything you could possible need. It was extremely clean and we loved the little heater in the bathroom as well as the fantastic gas stove in the kitchen.

Perfect location

We loved the location, away from the action to be very relaxing, yet close enough to get places each day. The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked. I would definitely stay here again!

Quaint, clean & perfect for 2

Great location for our in & out of Acadia NP. The cabin was small but so quaint, clean, & well equipped.

Pond Hill

Nice proximity to Acadia and downtown bar harbor. Quiet spot with access to a pond across the street for swimming and other water activities. Worked perfectly as a place to get some rest after a long day of exploring.

Perfect Weekend

This property exceeded our expectations. It was well laid out, offered the essential amenities we needed, and more importantly, is centrally located to all parts of Mt Desert. We would stay here again.

Great place for couple near Acadia Park

Great location very close to swimming and kayaking. Close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Doesn't have air-conditioning but didn't need it given the trees and cool nights.

Great place

Loved the location across the street from the lake. Traffic picks up early morning, but was quiet during the night. Place has everything you'd need, very clean and well equipped.

Bar Harbor and Acadia

Short drive to both of these places. Nice neighborhood with nice lakes. Canoes are available to rent nearby. Cozy and very clean!

Just what I needed

Perfect spot for a solo getaway trip to hike in Acadia, paddle on the pond down the street, and explore the island. Very quiet, with a few entertaining visits from local wildlife around the feeder outside. Everything was perfect.

September Getaway

Across from Long Pond and rental of kayaks, canoes and paddleboards. The Acadia mountains were very close as well as Bar Harbor. All very doable.

Great cottage!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The entire cottage was well stocked -- plenty of bathroom materials, multiple box fans, and plenty of pots/pans in kitchen. The location was perfect! We mostly did hiking on the quiet side, but easy access to Bar Harbor and Schoodic when desired. A fantastic space for a couple. We'd happily return and stay again.
