Weather you plan on exploring the greater Down East area, or planning to stay put, this is a perfect spot for you! This charming cottage sits close enough to the vibrant villages of Blue Hill and Ellsworth, yet a world away from the everyday. With Acadia National Park sitting only 40 minutes away, you have access to endless outdoor exploration opportunities. Bar Harbor is within your reach from this quiet retreat, as is the famous Fort Knox and the city of Bangor.
This newly updated cottage has a charming yet modern feel and amenities, featuring an amazing lounging couch, new beds and other brand new furnishings. Comfortable for up to three guests, with one bedroom, one bath and separate additional sleeping area. The fresh feel and comfortable space leaves you with everything you need to relax and to enjoy yourself.
Sleep soundly in the generous King bedroom, while the charming twin XL nook perched on the waters edge is perfect for a child with a sense of adventure, or even an adult! The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook together and dine at your own pace. Everything you need is already here, from cookware and utensils to a full-sized fridge and electric range. Whether you're whipping up a lazy weekend breakfast or a candlelit dinner for two, you'll have all the tools to make it happen. One lovely bathroom with a shower and extra storage round out this quintessential Maine retreat. Please note there is no dishwasher or on-site laundry — so you can truly leave the daily routine behind and breathe in that salt air.
With an unbeatable oceanfront setting, simply step down to your own beach access. Our beach is perfect for a cool swim, exploring tide pools, or watching the waves roll in against the rocky Maine shoreline as the day winds down. And when the sun starts to dip fire up the grill for a fresh Maine feast, then gather around the camp fire for some S’mores, as Down East nights don't get better than this.

This property is amazing, stunning, beautiful, and all the other splendor adjectives you can think of. Stargazing was superb. The kitchen was as well appointed as any short-term rental we’ve been in for years. I can not recommend this place enough!

Such an amazing experience! Kaylee was wonderful - providing me with information about Acadia in advance & readily available for any questions! They've added so many little touches in the cottage to make it a convenient & pleasant stay - way beyond the typical rental! Views of the bay are priceless - even on a foggy day. The outdoor property is absolutely gorgeous, well maintained with plenty of outdoor seating - the fire pit was a favorite. We hope to be back!
