The Burg Hotel Ziesar is located in the historic town of Ziesar, home to the former bishop’s residence, Ziesar Castle. Albrecht the Bear—the first Margrave of Brandenburg—is considered the founder of the Margraviate of Brandenburg and recaptured Ziesar from the Slavs in 1157. Ziesar Castle and its museum are open daily during the season, except on Mondays. Rooms feature double beds, which can be arranged as separate single beds if needed. Some rooms have a French bed. Some rooms are furnished with a small couch that can be used as an extra bed. One child up to 6 years old stays in the parents’ room free of charge. The price includes the breakfast buffet and a bottle of mineral water upon arrival.
