The Space:

If you're looking for peaceful seclusion, this forest cabin is the perfect place to unwind and escape from the daily stresses of life. You can sit out on the spacious deck and take in the quiet sounds of nature, or hop in the private hot tub and relax as you appreciate the gorgeous views of the forest. Bring your canine friend to this dog-friendly home and let him or her roam the property, then spend the night curled up at this perfect Blairsville home-away-from-home.



Surrounded by forests and mountains, this home has easy access to hiking trails and breathtaking scenery. You only have to drive 4.5 miles to reach the famous Appalachian Trail at the Hogpen Gap! If you feel like going back into civilization for a moment, you can drive 11.8 miles north to downtown Blairsville or 15.1 miles south to Helen. Blairsville is home to Butternut Creek Golf Course and a large variety of restaurants and shops. Helen hosts more cultural and active attractions, such as the Arts & Heritage Center and Helen Tubing & Waterpark.

Everything was very clean and a great cabin. Scout the small neighborhood dog came by to say hey! The surrounding area is very pretty and very remote. This cabin is up in mountains and for the nature lovers.

Beautiful property! Listing description was accurate. Plenty of space and very clean; hot tub was clean and the fire pit was ready for use. Quiet location, which was much needed. We were greeted by the neighbor's very sweet dog, Scout. He loves to be petted!Helton Falls was a mile down the road. Get there early if you want to enjoy without tons of people. The road is very narrow with no guard rails. All in all, a beautiful home with the perfect outdoorsy charm.Will definitely be back!

Quiet location near kid-friendly Helton Falls swimming holes. Well kitted out, cheerful decor, nice amenities (fireplace, outdoor fire pit, hot tub, porches). Host is somewhat "corporate" - boiler-plate emails - but responsive to questions. A nice stay, thanks!

The property was as advertised. Using the code to enter the front door was confusing as the numbers had some extra characters which I learned had to be eliminated to gain access. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare a few meals. The sitting area was very nice for 2 people. Instructions on how to use the tv and what channels were available would have been helpful, as well as instructions for the hot tub. The setting was so peaceful and quiet. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

A Beautiful Mountain Getaway

My family of 4 absolutely loved Bigfoot Bluff. It's quite secluded and that was exactly what we were hoping for. It's central to so many good hikes and things to do. We loved the hot tub and fire pit!

The home was clean and well laid out. There were more than enough towels for guests. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was silent and the bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was a perfect end to the day, and drinking morning coffee on the deck was a nice way to start the day.

totally private getaway!

We loved everything about this cabin tucked away on the side of a mountain. Ease of access, privacy, beautiful drive in any direction for miles.
