Terrific Gulf Front Home

We loved staying at Ibis Landing and will likely stay again. It is an extremely comfortable home with a terrific front porch, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and more. The host is gracious and quick to communicate. We've been to Palm Island about 10 times and will always not want to rent Ibis Landing. Hint - go to the north beach if there during red tide. There were almost no dead fish up that way.

Great property but was not clean when we arrived. We cleaned and vacuumed when we arrived then the cleaner arrived later on day two to finish cleaning and to make the beds she was very nice

Clean, spacious, right on the beach. Has Washer dryer ice machine dishwasher beach chairs boogie boards literally home away from home. Just grab groceries and head over. When we did arrive the cleaning lady (who was amazing and kind) notified us and the owner that she found before we arried that the last renters had knocked some of the closet doors off the track. Unfortunately we were already there but my handy husband set them back on track during some rainy weather we had as we bunkerd down during storm debbie here and the days following. Host was kind and easy to reach and very accommodating. 10/10 Hodt was kimd

Best Rental Home on DPI

My family and I have been vacationing on Don Pedro Island on and off since 2003 and we have stayed in a lot of homes there but Ibis Landing is the best one we have stayed in. The location is perfect, the layout of the house is perfect. The home is well equipped with pretty much everything you would need. Basically, load up with groceries on the mainland, get across the ferry and enjoy a great time in a great home. Jorge was very responsive to messages and communicated with us throughout the booking process. The home was very clean and in order on arrival and we just simply could not have asked for a better rental home for the week. Ibis Landing is a short 5 minute or so golf cart ride from the Palm Island resort where you can grab a meal at Rum Bay or visit Coconuts, the small coffee/ice cream shop. Coconuts has a decent selection of food and beverage items if you get in a pinch and don't want to leave the island. If you are planning to visit DPI, Ibis Landing should be your first choice.

Heaven On Earth

This is our second stay at this location and IT IS PARADISE! We stayed June 1-8. To start- Jorge, the owner of the property. I messaged him several times before our stay and even during our stay and he answered in a timely manner. There was an issue while we were there that I felt needed to be discussed over the phone. I called him and he was very kind and appreciative of my concern. He is a 5 star host!! :) Next- No road! I love this aspect of this little barrier island!! The ferry is $55 for a car, round trip. Not a concern for “beach bums” like us. The water is beautiful and a joy to swim in and float your cares away. If you love being up close and personal with sea life then you will be AMAZED! While swimming, several manatees swam right past us daily! Sea turtles! While out for a walk after dark, my daughter saw a sea turtle come ashore to lay her eggs:) Se was amazed!! A once in a lifetime experience. Rum Bay, the ONLY restaurant on the island. The food is good, but not the variety of seafood dishes it had years ago. The menu has been simplified and seems a bit pricey for burgers and fish tacos, BUT it was good food and the service was very friendly! We ate there 3 nights. Ibis Landing is a place that has become very special to our family and we are looking forward again, to our next stay! Thank you Jorge!!!

Better than expected

Beautiful property in a stunning location. The house had every amenity we needed and then some. The porch was our favorite spot with stunning sunsets every night. We would definitely stay again if we ever return to the area.

Awesome View!

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is spectacular and the screened back porch allowed us to watch sunsets and storms roll over the ocean from the comfort of a couch. Kitchen was well stocked. Access to the beach was easy. We had an issue with the sink leaking and the power going out but the property manager was on it and handled the problems quickly. We would absolutely stay here again.

Exceeded Expectations

If you want to fall asleep listening to the waves, wake up watching dolphins in the ocean, and have a comfortable place to relax. Look no further. This beautifully appointed home will be your new favorite destination. The pictures do not do it justice. Plan your meals hit the grocery store come across on the ferry and disconnect from the world and be ready to relax. This is our new favorite place in Florida.

Amazing location

The house is beautiful. The couch and beds are very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. It was nice to be directly on the beach. We saw dolphins, a tortoise and many birds.

Excellent beach house

The beach house and location were amazing. You are literally steps from the beautiful beach which a definite plus. The house was clean and bigger than the pictures show. There are a few more pluses to add... Ice maker in the kitchen, Two charcoal grills, two kayaks, and a shed with plenty of beach accessories. Jorge was also great. Had an issue with the staircase and he had someone come out immediately to get it fixed. Overall great time for our family of seven. Thanks Jorge!

Relaxing week away from it all

This was exactly what I was looking for. No traffic, no crowds, no stress. The pictures are great, the house is wonderful, but the view of the beach is indescribable. I'm starting to save now so I can come again next summer when I need to recharge again. Thank you.

The Perfect Low Key Getaway

Just as advertised, no high rise condos on the island made this the best vacation I’ve had in quite sometime. Very quiet, pristine beaches and morning, afternoon or sunset- the huge lanai is just spectacular, no other word does it justice.

Fabulous house & location

House is beautiful and love the master - other bedroom split plan. Kitchen was well stocked and the ice maker a wonderful addition. Didn’t realize the house came with kayaks which were used and enjoyed. We will be back !

Beautiful home!

Ibis Landing is a great location, loved the sunsets from the screened porch. Had plenty of beach chairs, two kayaks and nice space for barbecue under the house. House is nice and open kitchen, dinning and living room. Was my 60th birthday so hosted a little gathering with family on Sunday. The kitchen was well equipped, and the ice machine was a bonus. Gave cleanliness a 4, kitchen could have been cleaner, some pans and baking dishes were dirty and countertop by the ice machine all sticky. Other than that was great would definitely stay there again.

Best Vacation Location EVER!

This was our second year renting Ibis Landing from Jorge & Angie (super amazing & responsive hosts) and it was the most relaxing 2 weeks of our lives! The beach house is well kept, in the perfect location & stocked with everything your family will need and then some! We loved watching the manatee's & dolphins everyday! My husband and I even saw a loggerhead turtle come up to the beach one morning to nest & watched a manta ray jump out the water by the sand bar! The ocean front view is to die for & we loved how the sliding glass doors fully open up to the screened in deck from the family room & two bedrooms! Already looking forward to next year!

We fell in love with Don Pedro from the first time we set foot there. Being able to build Ibis Landing was a dream come true for us. It is the perfect getaway. Once we cross over from the mainland, all our worries are gone and a sense of peace and relaxation takes over.

While at Ibis Landing we enjoy everything from quiet days (no traffic, crowds, etc.) to long walks on the secluded beautiful beach. We have had so many special experiences with our children, watching dolphins jumping out of the water, many different species of native birds, and lots of shell. We have even had the opportunity to see manatees and at another time a sea turtle swim right by us. The natural experiences are limitless!
