The space
Escape to this peaceful, two-story retreat sitting on 55 acres of private meadows and woods. While you will feel completely secluded out in nature, the house is incredibly convenient—located just a few hundred feet off Route 299 and a quick 5 mins drive into downtown New Paltz, NY.
The Living Space (First Floor)
Central Open Kitchen: The heart of the home, fully equipped with all the pots, pans, and necessities you need to cook great meals.
Living Room: A casual, comfortable space made for relaxing after a day of hiking or exploring town.
Full Bathroom: Conveniently located right off the main living areas.
Laundry Room: Includes a washer and dryer so you can clean up after outdoor adventures.

The Bedrooms (Second Floor)
The home features four bedrooms in total. Three guest bedrooms are located on the second floor, while the fourth bedroom is locked and reserved exclusively for the host's personal storage (unoccupied during your stay).
Bedroom 1: One comfortable queen-size bed.
Bedroom 2: One comfortable queen-size bed.
Bedroom 3: Two twin-size beds, making it perfect for kids or friends.
Full Bathroom: A second complete bathroom on this floor so guests don't have to walk downstairs at night.
The Outdoors
55 Private Acres: A massive mix of open meadows and forest. You can enjoy the beautiful views, spot local wildlife from the house, or just relax in the total quiet.

A Note on Little Travelers
We love hosting families! However, to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable, please note that our home is not ideally suited for infants and toddlers. The property features open, ungated staircases and heavy, freestanding furniture that is not anchored to the walls. Additionally, we do not provide specialized child amenities like cribs or high chairs. We kindly ask that you take these layout details into consideration when planning your stay.

Booking Requirements: To complete your reservation, all guests are required to sign a pool liability waiver, stating that pool use is at your own risk, and formally agree to our house rules. Parents or legal guardians must sign on behalf of any underage guests. We will send this over right after your booking request is made. These steps are mandatory to ensure compliance with our local town ordinances and safety regulations. Please note that your booking is not finalized until these documents are completed. The home features four bedrooms in total. Three of these bedrooms are fully available to guests, while the fourth bedroom (unoccupied during your stay) as well as the closet space off the living room in the first floor are locked and reserved exclusively for the host's personal storage .

Neighborhood Sound Notice
While the property offers a beautiful, quiet setting, please note that the nearest fire department station is located about 2 miles away. Because of this proximity, emergency sirens can sometimes be heard from the house at random hours.
Wildlife & Natural Habitat Notice
Because our property and the surrounding lots are so large and deeply wooded, the local flora and fauna are in their completely natural habitat. Guests will experience the presence of native wildlife, insects, and outdoor plants. Some of these plants, bugs, or animals can be harmful if disturbed, so we strictly request that guests do not approach, feed, or touch any wildlife or unfamiliar plants for their own safety.
