Wonderful relaxing place.

My family and I had a great time at this property. Located on a beautiful property. Very relaxing and coordinating with the property owner was very easy.

Nice Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The host is very responsive. The location is 30 minutes from Beacon, 10 minutes from Poughkeepsie and 2 hrs from NYC. The office was a nice feature and the house has great WiFi.

House was good size for our group. Toilet seat in downstairs bath was broken. House could use a very though cleaning. Lawn could have been cut. Kitchen was beautiful.

Great place to stay! Communication was great, beds are SUPER comfortable and the separate heating/cooling in each room is nice. The living room doesn't have enough seeing for it to be the hangout spot, so lots of kitchen conversations :) The piano was a fun addition and we had some fun musical moments. I would say the only thing lacking was towels (both kitchen and bathroom, there were only a few) and things like paper towels, scissors, etc. Stuff you don't think to pack but realize later that you do really kinda need. Overall a great experience! Note: there is NO washer/dryer.

Three of us met up from different locations to see the Hudson River Valley area.The listing photos were similar to what we found upon arrival. However, we had to call our host ,as we had no coffee for the morning, no hand or shower soaps in the bathrooms and only had one facecloth in the place of hand towels in each bathroom. The host, was very apologetic and friendly when bringing supplies. When shown some things that the cleaner missed in the kitchen,she would talk to them.Although all the dishes were set on the table ,we were not able to find enough silverware for 3 people .There’s a Mr. Coffee 4 cup pot and 2 large mugs and a few glasses and a couple of cups. We ate out most meals and brought leftovers home to heat in the microwave. TVs and remote controlled AC in every room ,which was great ,as the days were warm. We woke up to the house being in the 50’s. There’s a wood burning stove in the living room ,no supplies and a sign saying not to use that chimney. There’s no washer/ dryer for guests ,as listed in amenities. By this time ,we just spent lots of time out seeing the sights.The house looks great ,but the touches to make it feel more comfortable than a hotel room are just not there yet. A 3 cushion couch and using a dining room chair in the living room for 3 to talk after dinner isn’t relaxing when you can see 2 swivel chairs upstairs. The house has potentialto be a home away from home.ps please install co2 alarm for gas stove

I have left plenty of coffee for the guest to Stay and enough towels, but they started complaining from the beginning. They even had a pet. They never register and they never paid for the pet. I just let it go since they were complaining so much for every little detail. I even went in the middle of the night to drop off an extra coffee for them. Soap it was one under the sink, but they said there was not enough for them. I do not recommend them at all.
