The cabin is simple and not cluttered. Everything necessary for a pleasant experience was available. The deer came by a couple of nights. The road up to cabin is a twisty up and down smooth dirt road but not bad in the summer. Take the road to Florissant and it is not far at all, too many things to do.If the owners could fix the low water pressure and lights flickering when you turn on the kitchen faucet it would be perfect. The lights flickering maybe a loose electrical connection. Get an electrician to tighten all the connections in the panels right now!

Everything was great we had everything that was needed! The scenery was incredible! The down side is it’s far away from everything and it’s quite the drive. But if looking for a place to stay and enjoy then this is it!!

Affordable and very patriotic

The decorations seemed more Betsy Ross than Meandering Moose and there are definite room for improvements in water pressure, comfort, and working furnishings but still an affordable option with multiple bedrooms and a definite upgrade from a hotel.

Great Property!

This is a wonderful, rural mountain cabin! Though we only stayed there 2 nights, we were VERY happy with our choice to stay here. The booking, payment, check-in, communication, etc., were all FANTASTIC. Thank you!!!

Meandering Moose Cabin

We love the quaint cabin in the woods! We had deer come visit us one day that were very friendly. Cabin was clean and comfortable and perfect for our small family. Highly recommend!

Perfect couple trip at the cabin!

We loved the Meandering Moose Cabin! It was perfect for our first trip as a couple to Colorado. We loved drinking coffee on the porch in the mornings with the beautiful view, as well as the comfortable beds and location. Water pressure in the shower was a little low, but overall it was clean and fit all of our needs! Recommend for a short weekend/trip or stay :)

Fantastic!

This cabin is the perfect spot! It is comfortable and has everything you need to feel at home. Peace and tranquillity surround the cabin. The cabin covered porch is a place to spend hours enjoying nature!

Nice space

This was a very cute rental. It was clean and looked very new. It definitely requires a 4x4 to get there. It is about 25 minutes from the nearest town as well, and is very secluded.

Cabin in the Woods

Family trip with two boys who loved exploring and seeing deer come through. The loft was nice with two twin beds and layout of the cabin was great to have a bedroom on each end. It is located 3.5 miles on gravel with many turns, having navigation is a must (use directions through Florissant, not Divide as that takes you through private property!)
