Location was as expected, but the garbage can was full, the shampoo and body wash in the shower were empty, and the refrigerator was so cold it froze our food and drinks.

Quiet and calm. Comfortable bed. Not as clean as I would have hoped- lots of dust bunnies and cobwebs, and hair in the shower drain when we arrived. Overall decent stay.

Far away but close enough

Great retreat on the island and in the woods. Close enough to Langley (25 minutes to walk the dog), but it felt very private and peaceful. Fantastic hub for a relaxing weekend- would absolutely stay here again.

Nice getaway

Good weekend in the woods and on the island. Cute cabin very near to Langley (20 minute walk with the dog), yet it felt very private and secluded.Would reserve a space here again!

We had a great time at this cabin, it was a good choice for getting out of the house and enjoying the quiet of the woods for a few nights. It’s tucked away enough to feel nice and private, but also conveniently placed only a few minutes from multiple towns. The amenities were nice. The bed is comfortable, the towels & linens were clean and the kitchen is well-stocked, there is ample table & counter space so nothing had to be set on the floor. We only had a couple small issues; there were some cobwebs around in obvious places and the fridge/freezer seemed like it could have been cleaned better. Some of the lights in the house also did not work, but there was still at least one functional switch in every room. I would also recommend bringing a white noise machine or a speaker if you’re a light sleeper as we heard a lot of rustling & appliance noises (nothing unusual, just a bit loud) throughout the night. With that aside we still enjoyed our stay and would return.

Wonderful hideaway in Langley, WA

This rustic cabin in the woods was perfect for our recent stay. Communication was great, and the cabin was very clean and cute with full amenities. Staying in the cabin was very peaceful and relaxing, and only a 5-minute drive to downtown Langley.

The home was beautiful, inside and out. Bad cellphone service for me, the free Wifi definitely helped out. Thank you!!! Thank you for the free dish soap and detergent. Thank you for opening up your home to us.

Peaceful at the Hideaway

The Hideaway was a great way to enjoy peace and quiet and nature! It was very clean well kept. The bed needs a little cushion and it would be great to have had a tea kettle, but those are minor things.

Issues began with electronic code not working on door. Got ahold of property manager to get key box open. Not very many kitchen supplies. No cell coverage. When booked I asked about fireworks nearby was told it would be quite not the case. When texted contact with issues never heard back them

Everything was fine for the most part. It would have been nice to have more pans to cook with and. BBQ would have been nice. We were not able to adjust the thermostat and it was cold.

Cute place in the woods.

My brother and I stayed at this cute cottage in the woods. It was peaceful and quiet. Perfect for out of towners from the big city. Bring eye shades though because the window blinds let in plenty of light. Also the furniture could use some updating in the kitchen and living room.

Loved my stay at the hideaway!

Very private and quiet location! Loved the large covered porch with dog friendly amenities (tie out , water bowl and mutt mitts). The cabin is warm and spacious with custom design details. The kitchen is spectacular, large range, fridge, and butcher block counter with seating. The upstairs bedroom has lots of light with big windows, built in desks and vanity and skylight. A very nice, custom built cabin in a beautiful forest setting.

Sweet break in nature

When I arrived at the Hideaway, I was pleasantly surprised that it was actually better that the photos! The place was immaculate, well planned out, nicely furnished and had a relaxing vibe. I suppose my only issue was that the bathroom was so far away from the bedroom upstairs (nighttime visits) Otherwise, this was a great property for someone seeking true quiet and privacy.
